My husband and I only come to this Dominos, as it's closest to our home, the staff is usually friendly, and our order is always ready quickly and correctly. Every Sunday we order pizza online, yesterday they lost power and couldn't accept online orders or phone orders. They said to try again in 20 minutes, we tried again online and our order went through. After 20 minutes our pizza tracker said it was still "firing up." After we pulled into the parking lot they called to say it would be another 45 minutes until our pizza was ready as their system was still down. I asked if they had received my order and they said yes, and I asked if they had power and their oven was working, again they said yes. So I asked why I couldn't have my pizza made, if they had power. They just told us it would be another 45 minutes. I work in a restaurant and during the storm we lost power so I know and am sympathetic for when situations like this happen. My problem is with how poorly it was handled by the staff. We walked in and they told us 20-30 minutes for our pizza, even though it was made it just had to be baked. The lady making our pizza was yelling at other staff members, the Asian guy working didn't apologize once, nobody said they were sorry for the inconvenience, they all just yelled at each other, ignored us, and continued about their day. After about 15 minutes they said our order was almost ready.
Again my issue was with the awful customer service received. I have been a server since I was 15, and this was the worst display of leadership, and lack of empathy I have ever experienced. All rude. 2 white girls and one brown skin boy I couldn’t tell what he was. I am a black woman and race isn’t important but I will mention it to paint the picture and for them to be identifiable for the manager who reads this. Stand there for a few minutes and then finally decided I need to check if I am invisible by speaking first and asking for my pick up order that is ready as I am looking at it. The young brown skin boy rolls his eyes and grabs my food. I open the boxes to the dryest and non cheesy looking pizza and cheesy bread I have ever seen. Parts of the pizza is straight up cooked dough no sauce or cheese. I ask him if he is the manger and ask for a garlic sauce because the pizza is terribly dry. He says as long as you paid for it so I let him know he can take the pizza and give me back my cash because all I’m asking is for a garlic sauce for this nasty looking food and he rolls his eyes again and breathes deep and gets the sauce. I wish I gave it back because it was disgusting my kid ate one slice and didn’t want anymore when usually they’d eat atleast 2 or 3 slices. The cheesy bread had no cheese inside or out but I had already ordered marinara sauce for it so I accepted it but honestly I want the workers to undergo training or be fired because I was a Manager at dominos years ago and nothing I was taught was displayed in that store tonight. I ordered a beef and cheese pizza well done I received one pizza well done with pork and The other cheese pizza not cooked at all! When I contacted store location 5175 S Old Peach Tree Rd Norcross GA 30071 to informed them what Ive received an employee answered and apologized and informed me his MANAGER DAVID would have to handle the situation. When David got on the phone I informed him of the situation and that I am pregnant and allergic to pork he automatically responded that it was a beef pizza, beef and pork is the same meat it is not his fault that I don’t know the difference HE WILL NOT GIVE ME A REFUND. If I wanted a credit on the pizza I had to bring it back to the store after I ordered it for delivery because I had no transportation. He did not apologize instead he hung up the phone in my face after I asked to speak to his superior. Then, when my husband got to the store, the store manager DAVID bullied the situation and stated that he will not provide us with a refund and he is trespassing after telling me to bring back the pizza.
