I had delivered here working for Uber Eats a few times with ppl ordering like $45+ type orders so I figured I'd give it a try. My fiancé and I went tonight for the first time to the Peachtree Corners location and the atmosphere was good, inviting, welcoming and charming. The server however, took our orders and then....decided to go on lunch break or something cause she most certainly didn't return after dropping off our drinks...that was unfortunate. I think I overheard her saying to a guest that a family member either had just passed or was on life support and it was her first day back....so Imma be nice...but I still expected better service cause she may have been going thru...but she surely had time to still converse with other guest and go eat...directly in my line of sight. As far as the food...it was decent. Tolerable. The fries were SUPER soggy. I've worked in food and beverage for 13+ years with 7 of those years in upper management level and the kill time for FRESH fries is 7mins and those fries were dead honey...dead way before they even had a chance. Definitely was not fresh and I definitely was not impressed with that. The BBQ chicken lacked the "pow" hit u in the face kick...and the Mac and cheese was....well it was chain restaurant Mac and cheese but not terrible just.. Eh. All and all it was decent...and I would have given 3 stars...but I am BIG on customer service and to me that carries more weight at times than the food because you get to experience THAT aspect of the dining experience FIRST before you even get your order. So if that part falls short...im typically over it. I would like to give them a second try. In the...
Read moreWhere to start.....the best the was the two man 70's band. I told the guy that I couldn't request a song, because his lineup was so amazing, if I requested a song, I would have missed whatever he was going to play next! The restaurant.....right. Very cool place. More expensive than the info says. The meals are over $20. The reason that restaurant was half full, is that they opened in a neighborhood that can't support that type of restaurant. $$ We drove from Johns Creek. I know you love the rent there, but the neighborhood has to be able to afford the food. The service was fabulous, starting with the host, and then the waitress, and food runners. The food.....could have been great.....but....VERY salty collards, VERY sweet beans, odd vinegar slaw...I love what they serve at Hudson's in Hilton Head. I think that's what they were going for. The Brunswick stew was pretty good. The potato salad wasn't bad. Just maybe needed something more. Chopped carrots, celery, salt and pepper would have made it great. It was a bad idea to call it Texas toast....it was the 50 calorie a slice bread. Really? The chicken nachos were pretty good. I liked the multi-colored chips. The chicken needed to be more shredded, instead of giant chunks. I might have liked the spicier sauce for nachos. Sweet sauce for nachos? My unsweetened tea was good. I really wanted a to-go cup, but didn't ask. My son got the ribs..they looked impressive. It wouldn't take much to change that experience into fantastic. BTW, the singer is there every other Saturday night. My husband wants to go back in 2 weeks and get a beer at the bar, and listen to the guy. He...
Read moreWe came here on a Friday night with my husband’s service dog. Initially we requested to sit outside, but after realizing how hot it still was, came back in to request indoor seating. The host, whom we believe has special needs, was extremely frazzled with this request. He sat us in the back to the right of the host’s stand, against the wall in the middle. It was tight quarters for the three of us given the spacing between tables but we made it work. What was irritating was that out of the complete back walls with countertop eating, all of them were empty aside from where we sat, and the host sat two different families next to us on each side. We were then squashed and my husband had to continuously move his service dog to accommodate the people while also making sure our dog could be close enough to my husband should a medical need arise. Again, I think this kid had special needs and didn’t realize that seating everyone on top of us may be uncomfortable but it made us want to leave.
Our server was very friendly and she did a wonderful job. There was also another lady who came over a few times to make sure everything was good which we appreciated.
The food itself was mediocre, we’ve had better barbecue elsewhere. We ordered the bbq nachos which were room temperature black beans more than anything. I had the chopped pork with potato salad and sweet potato. I liked everything except the potato salad. My husband ordered their chicken sandwich with cheese added to it which he enjoyed but wasn’t exactly crazy about.
All in all, I think we would try other barbecue places around the area before...
