Dawn Donuts — Restaurant in Pearland

As I was tasked with providing kolaches and donuts to my mens early morning faith sharing group, I wanted to provide high quality and great flavorful kolaches. I had sampled 1/2 of a Dawn Donuts kolache last week and I felt like I had finally found a true kolache with a real sausage link. Far too many Houston kolache offerings simply appear to me as an inexpensive wiener in a dough wrap. Ugh. Tasteless. Heartburn. It was suggested I try Dawn Donuts for my mens group so I arrived early to buy a dozen kolaches of mixed heat and a dozen donuts. To my surprise at the closing of the mens group only 1/2 a donut and 1/2 a kolache was left on the serving table. I would call that success and a clear indication Dawn Donuts taste and quality exceed the usual offerings from the mainstream breakfast bakers. We visited Dawn Donuts while in Texas. The donuts were very tasty. They’re using something special in their recipe for sure. But they didn’t just offer donuts. They served kolaches, big and small, hot and fresh breakfast burritos ranging from bacon and egg, to sausage and eggs, cheese potatoes and eggs, and breakfast croissants that makes everything dandy! To top it all off, they’re customer service was the greatest. I’m not sure if Dawn Donuts is just named after the morning Dawn, but in this case it could’ve been named after the lady at the counter because she served us with a smile, with great hospitality, she even gave us a free donut. In today’s food industry it’s sad to say, but good customer service is hard to find. I would like to extend a 5 star review to Dawn Donuts in Pearland, Texas on Main st. You will not regret...

I’m absolutely positive all the good reviews here were actually meant for the Dawn Donuts on Blackhawk. I ordered these by mistake thinking I was ordering the other Dawn Donuts. I figured donuts are donuts I’m sure they will be okay… I was very wrong. I’m sure that the owners go to Kroger every morning and order their glazed donuts and just resell them cause that’s exactly how it tasted. Instead of iced donuts I got glazed donuts with extra chocolate icing poured over them inside the box like a huge mess. The donuts are so dense they should be cake donuts, not at all airy and fluffy. I could only take one bite before tossing them all in the trash.. leaving this here so hopefully avoid more people wasting food and being very disappointed when they bite into...
