Taquerias Arandas — Restaurant in Pearland

This is the worst restaurant I’ve been to. I love Arandas, but the service we received was ridiculous! We told the waitress there were 2 separate tickets. She stated they do that up front. It took over 30 minutes to get a drink. We didn’t complain once. It took about 20 minutes to receive chips. Still didn’t complain. After an hour we ordered our food. That didn’t take as long. Maybe 30 minutes. The waitress we had was unprofessional and rude. Anytime we asked for a refill or chip we received an eye roll. She even went to the other waitress at the counter and was obviously talking about us because she was pointing and the other staff members were looking. We treated her with respect even though we weren’t given the same. It came time to pay, we told her what we had on our ticket. She said no no that they do not do that . We told her that’s why we wanted it done prior to ordering so we wouldn’t have this issue…. So we asked for the full total. We were told $ 170 for 7 people. No alcohol, and 2 waters. Remembering what we ordered it didn’t add up. So I requested a receipt. She wouldn’t give one showing our order. We asked if the tip was included she said no. Again with the eye rolls. Continued to stay calm and told her it seems to be a bit more than what I had come up with so I asked if she could double check. Again with the eye roll she told me no. The person standing behind her told her the tip is included . So she then changed it and said oh yes tips included. I asked her once we pay if we can see the receipt and was told no again. We paid with a card, I asked for a pen to sign the receipt, she put it on the counter, the pen wouldn’t write so I asked if she had another one, of course another eye roll before placing another one on the counter. She snatched the first pen and attempted to scribble on paper. When she realized it wasn’t going to work she crumpled everything and slammed the pen down.. If that was the total fine, but her demeanor was suggesting it was not. She made my entire family feel uncomfortable, and the other staff members seemed to think her behavior was normal. If customer service isn’t your forte then I suggest you not be a waitress! Not to mention the food wasn’t as good as the other 2/3 locations we typically go to. The enchiladas and meat...

Will never come back here ever again. That was their last chance. I asked for the manager and this young lady rolled her eyes and her head and looked at me and said "I'm the manager." I asked her how old was she and she said 17. The manager is 17 years old very cocky and arrogant. She looked at me and rolled her eyes when I gave her the complaint. So I want to understand and try to figure out why.....why there's a 17-year-old as a manager on duty at a place that serves alcohol and beer. Someone explain that to me. Our order was wrong. And when it was brought back to me it was slung all over the plate. Very nasty and no flavor. My partner and I have been here before but never had this type of service and this attitude. We ordered our food at the same time. My partners came first. And mines came about 20 minutes later and it was wrong. If I could give you 0 Stars I would. Don't waste your time and money coming here. We tried giving it several chances. The food has no flavor and the management staff is too young to even be a manager with an attitude problem. If you're a member of the staff here I hope you're reading this and do better. And no, I'm not changing anything I said because it's a fact. And yes I did report this establishment to the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission for having a 17 year old person who's not even old enough to buy alcohol or cigarettes is the manager of an establishment that sells alcoholic beverages. EXPENSIVE for TRASH, UNFRESH food in the middle of the afternoon!!! Take out line was wrapped from the front ordering window to around the back of the building. There is NO drive through ordering menu displayed here, NONE, no signage, NO ORDERING MENU outside. Absolutely ridiculous. Since I got trapped w/no way to exit due to one line & cars in front and back of me, I sat there 20min before I could even get to the window to order. Then the lady taking orders at the window says "what can i get you", well how do i know??? I haven't looked at a menu, SMH!! Then she was the same lady running outside to give the ppl their orders! Staff tell ppl to move up by moving their hands manually, waving, & yelling @ ppl in their vehicles! Then ppl in their cars don't move up far enough for you to order @ the window or ask for a menu. SMH by the time I get to the window IDK what I want b-c there ain't NO MENU. The food was nasty! I got fajitas quesidilla. It was supposed to be! It was literally so grinded, it looked like the smashed taco meat in the jack in the box tacos! I was like what in the world is this?? Not even fajitas meat. Food was nasty. I would not recommend. It was not fresh. Not even the rice! It seamed reheated. IDK how the place is still up & running. It must be due to the Holiday Inn across the street.
