11- 07-24: I've seen this building under construction for the past several months and later found out it was going to be a coffee place. On Wednesday (11-6-24) I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised at the decor and the coffee selection. I did have a small issue: walked in and it seemed like no one noticed me come in. There was no marking where to place the order so I searched for the cash register and found it. As I looked at the menu board, no one asked me if they could help me. They (3 employees) all seemed to be busy doing coffee stuff, but not a glance over to me for acknowledgment. After a few moments (seemed like minutes) someone did ask for my order. I get it, it just opened and maybe everyone is getting used to it, but this is one of the first things for a business to do: customer service. A little tip: advertise that your business is opened: didn't see anything showing that. There is another coffee shop within walking distance from your coffee shop (green and white color logo) and if you want some of their business, you need to step it up a lot. I did notice that construction is still going on - mainly decoration, but that doesn't bother me because it shouldn't affect service. I will be coming by another day to see how things go. I wasn't expecting a design on my coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Additionally the almond baked good was very good as well as the coffee. I didn't have to wait very long for everything to be served.
UPDATE 12-30-24: My family and I visited on this day and compared to my previous visit, the coffee shop is completely finished with construction. The coffee crew has improved from the first time I visited: more alert, helpful (I think the first time, they were in training and we shouldn't grade then for that). Ordered a sugar free vanilla cappuccino for me and a breakfast taco (even though it's the evening - you can eat tacos anytime). These tacos are huge! Also ordered 2 more drinks and a pastry and according to my family they were delicious. My cappuccino was great. What made this visit extra pleasant is the hometown feel, the extra effort in helping out. I love how they use nice coffee cups and plates. The coffee art is beautiful and it's the...
Read moreI have really tried to give this place a try, but the customer service is just not good. I’ve had multiple experiences with different employees and each time the service is less than expected at both of their locations. A coffee shop is suppose to be a friendly place. It’s really simple, greet the customers with a welcoming tone, make them feel like their business is valued, and make eye contact. The coffee and tea is fairly priced, but the rewards system is flawed. If I purchase one drink I get one star, but if I purchase two drinks I still only get one star. Of course I could make my multiple drinks orders multiple orders, but I shouldn’t...
Read moreThe coffee is really good. However, 90 percent of the time they are out of the Date nut bar and the yogurt. Once I even got charged for it, paid then they realized they were out , said they would issue a refund but never did. About half the time they don't take your drive through order at the sign in advance and will blame it on you for driving a truck and lately, some of the female staff has been very rude. They don't even reciprocate a "Good Morning" or "have a nice day" , just no eye contact, silence and just a slam of the drive through window closing. I Hope things change back to how great it was when they...
