Starbucks — Restaurant in Pearland

This is probably the best starbucks I've ever went to. I go just about every single day, and every time I've gone in they've already had my order ready so all I have to do is walk in and walk out. The one time they didn't have it ready, it was because their systems had been down, so when I ordered on the app it redirected my order to the Friendswood store without me noticing. So as I was fully prepared to go to the Friendswood store, which is almost a 20 minute drive, the guy who I assume was the manager, offered to make me my coffee free of charge so I didn't have to drive all the way over there. I wish I knew his name, but he's been really cool every time I've seen him there. The other customers at this store are extremely generous as well. I went here on Christmas day for my coffee, and when I went to pay I was told that the customer in front of me had already taken care of me. The only complaints I have about this place is that the parking is extremely tight and sometimes there can outright be no parking spots so you're forced to park next door which can be inconvenient, and the inside of the store doesn't really have that same relaxed coffee shop vibe like the one in Friendswood or Clear Lake. I do not usually have any issues ordering from this Starbucks. It is always a friendly and smooth experience. But for some reason this morning was different. I placed an online order and went to go pick it up. I normally go inside if the drive thru line is long but it didn’t look like this morning so I went through there. A lady over the speaker asks me if I had ordered yet, I say no I placed an online order for Laura. She said oh it looks like you placed it four mins ago and it’s going to take fifteen mins. (I only ordered one drink) I said I’d rather wait in the drive thru, there were two cars ahead of me and usually when I go through the drive thru whomever answers the speaker says they are working on it and will have it ready. She then says we can’t have you waiting that long in the drive thru we’re backed up right now. In the time it took me to park, go inside and wait was not even three mins, which is how long it took the two cars ahead of me to go through. My drink was ready in under three mins, not fifteen as previously stated. I understand being busy and this Starbucks is usually very busy but the way it was worded and said came off as very rude and...

This location is always pretty good honestly. Due to the fact that it is not a stand alone store, you are going to have to wait in line during the peak hours in the drive through. Its not very long most times like other locations however. The one a short drive down the road on Walnut is WAY worse and i just drive the extra few mins to this one even though Walnut is closer to me. The patio is nice but it sits out in the parking lot right next the drive through exit which can be annoying due to loud cars or just exhaust smell in general. You can of course sit there during Covid however. The inside is nice but room is limited because it is a shared building. Doesn't really matter at this moment due to Covid but you can get in and out with room to social distance if you dont want to wait in line. Parking is extremely limited however so its nice that they are able to move the drive through rather quickly. Still one of the better locations i go through in...
