Came in here cause I noticed the sign for Korean Corn Dogs while I was across the street.
Figured now was the time to give them a try with how much I've been seeing them.
I can say that I wasn't disappointed.
Now, let me make clear, this is a review based on the Korean Corn Dogs and their dumplings good wise.
Others have already spoken on their Boba and I did not order any my first go through. I love Boba, but that was not the mission with this visit.
The Korean Corn Dogs were amazing in texture. A light crisp crunch with bread that leaves a sweet tingle on the taste buds. All extremely fresh and the cheese was stretchy to the max. In this case we had a full cheese and a half & half of the cheese and fish sausage. Mind you we got the ones without potato. So texture experience will most likely change with that.
The fish sausage was fall apart in the mouth texture. Very soft to compliment the crisp crunch spoken of earlier. While the $5-6 price tag may seem a bit much. I think it is perfect as a snack yo go with your Boba. Or as we did it toady. A tag along with an order of the fried dumplings split at the table.
A fine tag along with nothing to complain about their. The sauce was great and the dumplings helped round off the meal we had.
All in all for a cafe the food was great. For 1 half & half, 1 full cheese and 1 order of the fried dumplings we got to about $18.
Normally I'd feel it is a bit much, but honestly. Every part of it was solid and the flavors were great.
For those wanting a place to come and have a solid snack or light meal. I say come on down. Treat yourself. And have a happy day knowing that you are supporting local while getting an amazing bang for your buck flavorwise.
I look forward to come back and trying some other things down the menu from...
Read moreWow!! Such a kind owner who was so bright and personable was behind the counter, making my first visit to this location so memorable. I had brought someone for their 1st boba tea experience, and he allowed her to sample it to help her try the texture, explained and helped her find a recommendation off the menu, and told us about how much time he put into his craft. His recommendation was Vietnamese iced coffee since she is a caffeine addict with coffee jelly since she didn't like the boba pearls texture. She loved it, and we enjoyed ourselves looking at the merchandise and singing along to the catchy music. I've been to the TeaTime in Webster many times, but this one takes the cake! They also made mine and my husband's drinks (ube taro milk tea with boba & Thai tea with boba) perfectly, and the fish K-dog I ordered was delightful!! I can't want to come back~
My only suggestion would be to open earlier. I'd order from here religiously every morning if I could. Starbucks who? Namsatea who?? Gimme more boba...
Read moreI changed my review because of the added claw machines. It's really upsetting to be so blatantly cheated. I've played these kinds of claw machines at another store and I can clearly see all the claw machines are rigged to release pressure when it pulls up. It's disgusting for the place to have rigged claw machines when it's not even the main source of income for the business. Don't add it if you're putting it in for your customers to lose Makes me question your quality of your overall business. I would add the video of the claw machine if Google allowed.
Clean facility. Knowledgeable employees. Quality products. I can't praise this place enough. This place is FANTASTIC and has AUTHENTIC products. The employees can actually tell you the difference of how authentic the products are and great communication skills. Extra cute items for sale that my daughter also loved. 100%...
