Subway — Restaurant in Pearland

If I could give a zero, believe me I would.

For the absolute stellar service I experienced the first time coming here, tonight I was left completely disappointed and quite frankly very upset. I placed an order on the mobile app for a Steak and Cheese and Club Sandwich, along with a medium Coke and two chocolate chip cookies.

My father and I went to go pick up the order, and actually he entered the establishment while I waited with our dog in the car. Almost from the moment he entered, my father said the employees made fun of him for wearing his mask (my father is 70 years old,) they didn't want to give him the medium coke, even though it had already been paid for and was clearly written on the receipt. After coming back to the car, we realized they hadn't given us our cookies either so my father went back in one final time. Once again they didn't want to give our items to us and not knowing that my father is a Latino man and speaks fluent Spanish, one of the older employees started telling the younger one in Spanish "no le des nada, no le des nada," which translates to "don't give him anything, don't give him anything." Finally the younger employee gave my father the cookies and we left.

It is absolutely atrocious the way they treated my father, completely disrespectful, not to mention they wanted to cheat us out of our food that we had already paid for. Do you think this behavior is acceptable? We'll be taking our business elsewhere. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION, the way they treat their customers is...

The food was excellent and deserves five stars. One of the ladies who was working there is nice and accurate at taking orders. The other lady is the reason why I did not rate the experience five stars. I wanted to take my family there for dinner and the tables were dirty. My mother asked for one to be cleaned and she kept putting it off. At last, she did come to clean the tables. She sprayed three or four tables without care. My mother is not supposed to be around cleaning chemicals. She needs a lung and heart transplant. Then, the lady (she said her name is Maria) began to wipe one of the tables. My mother pointed out the one that she wanted and Maria told her rudely that she is not the only customer who wants to sit at a table. There was only one other customer in the restaurant at the time and he was still ordering. He took it to go when he finished the order. During the time that we were there, no other customers sat at tables. It was quite rude and unnecessary. If it had not been for the way that she treated us, then it would have...

I wasn’t even able to order my food..nobody greeted me, it was 3 of them that I saw, they all dispersed. I walk closer the “order here” sign and two of the workers are just gossiping! They were speaking Spanish and I guess they judged me because I’m “black” and assumed I don’t know Spanish as well. I’m HALF Latino and the way the Mexicans here are so rude because they don’t know English and resort to being rude/nasty. I ended up leaving after I legit standing there for a good 3 minutes while they ignore and carry on their conversation. So instead spending my hard earned money at this establishment, I decided to get to another place for better service, which in fact I got it. Was greeted immediately in a super busy restaurant and was even wished a good day when leaving. I rather not drive to this location since they don’t like to do the bare minimum at their job.
