Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Pearland

Food is always good, I have had a couple order mess ups. Last visit they almost gave me and mom 4 cups for drinks instead of 2. They gave mom fries and mash potatoes instead of 1 read beans. But She was like ehh thats a free side so she kept it. The food portions have always been good tho. They gave me read beans one time instead of potatoes. I know the complaining about free food seems weird lol, but my mom doesnt like to complain sometimes or i think she would've said they got her read beans wrong. But other than that food has always been good etc.

Update 6/10/2023 They Brought back the blackened chicken only for me to be disappointed, it was dry as heck. They forgot the mayo ,cheese and bacon on one... went back around and told them to use the same sandwich as not to waste. But when i left again through drive through for second time they didnt put mayo on it i was like whatever not going back around again. Also when i got home that one they messed up it tasted like pickles tho it had none and i asked for none. So either they reused the chicken or put pickles on then took off assuming someone wouldnt notice when u can clearly taste it. Luckily im not allergic but i had to eat it and i have pickle taste. Both sandwiches were super dry as well. Was so happy when they brought blackened chicken back and now may never eat it again if its that dry.

Update 7/1/2023 was looking forward 2 the buy chicken combo get sandwich free but this location doesnt have the coupon at this location. So decided to go eat anyways, the blackened chicken was too small but they first gave me the wrong one then had to go around and get tell them. They Then gave me the sandwich that was little too small and kind dry. Wont be getting blackened chicken ever again. I dont get why the first time they did it earlier this year they were good and now they dry and too small. Also the dr pepper tastes weird...

I rarely eat fried anything, but Popeyes is my first choice for fried chicken. Hadn't had Popeyes in months, so the craving was definitely there. Pulled into the parking lot; indeed I noted long lines in the drive thru and inside. Keep in mind this is shortly after the chicken sandwich fiasco. I'm going to be honest I was curious about the fuss. I pulled into the drive thru line as I observed 2 cars ahead of me backing out and leaving. Perfect! Line was still a bit long, was able to read several angrily written signs stating chicken sandwich was sold out until further notice!!!! Oh ok, well the line surprisingly moved along and I ordered a two piece meal with a corn on the cob, and an apple pie. My total at the window was a little over $10. Ummmmm? I'm thinking lady I didn't order a box of chicken...Since when has a combo with one side cost over $10? Suddenly, my homemade stewed chicken and vegetables, from last night seemed like the better option. Being considerate , I continue driving off to keep the line moving. I mean the service was polite and fast, so I'll go ahead and enjoy my craved cuisine. Food was still nice and warm when I got home. You can never go wrong with the biscuit with honey of course! Lemonade was delightful. I had a leg and thigh... I ate the leg, the chicken seemed a bit salty. Or maybe that was my attitude because I never recalled the inflated combo price,well maybe they need a $2 Thursday. Popeyes has lost its mind after that chicken sandwich craze. No one to share the big piece of chicken with so it was trashed and the Apple pie and corn went in the fridge. I don't know, I enjoy preparing better meal options, so maybe I'll just retire that...

I placed an online order for a 4 piece chicken with 2 sides, a drink, and a biscuit. I placed it while I was at the store and I told both of the Managers that I was placing the order and I wanted it fresh. The Manager that I told was a thin lady wearing a black shirt. There was another heavy set female Manager wearing a gray shirt when I told them that I was placing the order and I wanted it fresh. I even told them that I wanted both of the sides to be Red Bean & Rice too. I sat and waited in the lobby for 30 minutes and I had to go up to the counter and let them know that I was still waiting for the order. The other Manager was wearing a gray shirt and his name was Carlos. He gave me the order that was still sitting on the counter by the Dishing Area. I told them that I wanted it to be remade and was very upset since I waited for 30 minutes and nobody came out to even acknowledge me in the lobby. My order was wrong and the chicken was not fresh. I asked for the Manager’s name and she gave me an attitude stating that she did not know her name. She was wearing a black shirt. Carlos was very professional.
