Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Pearland

There is one employee who consistently under performs and doesn’t care about shorting customers. She charged me for extra donuts that I didn’t order, and only packed up the items I had ordered. As I was leaving I noticed on the receipt and asked about the extra charge. She responded by saying “Oh, it’s cheaper that way, I was going to give you the other donuts.” It was very obvious that she overcharged me and had no intention of giving me what I had payed for. Then today AFTER packing up my order of three kolaches and three donut holes and three donuts rang me up for three of each. I was home before I realized she had shorted me. BEWARE!! At this location, they are notorious for charging you for extra items that you did not request and they’ll tell a customer “here’s an extra donut or Kalache on the house.” For instance, today I visited this location and ordered 2 kalaches and 1 glazed donut, the lady at the window tells me “$10 is the total” when I asked why it totaled to so much, she breaks down the price and it’s clear that she thought I wasn’t competent to do basic addition so when I pointed out that it still did not add up, she began to acted as if she didn’t know English but did manage to clearly state that she was giving me 10 additional kalaches on the house. Went to Shipleys donut this morning, the gentleman whom was mopping the floor asked if I needed help. I said yes I would like to get some donuts. He grabs a box and looks at me ready to start the order. I said sir aren't you gonna wash your hands before handling my food. Then the lady next to him tells him to do so. I went ahead and took my order but told him next time sir you need to make sure you wash your hands before handling food. This kid gives me a dirty look.
