Read moreFirst time trying this place was when my husband and I were sick with covid a few months ago and our friend who isnât viet, suggested this place to us. I trust her taste since sheâs enjoyed authentic viet food before, so I gladly accepted her kind offer to send us food from here. Omg!!! I almost cried. When I get sick I crave homemade viet food, but donât want to cook it myself. This is like having homemade food my mom makes or the really good viet restaurants in Chinatown. So happy!!! We moved to this area last year, Iâve tried some of the trendy newer viet restaurants along 288, but still wasnât super impressed especially with the prices. But Thanh phưƥng is great and typical family style orders where you get enough to feed the family. And taste is phenomenal - just had egg rolls, egg noodle soup, viet salad (goi), and some other things. Canât wait to try the rest of the menu!! So far it almost reminds me of our familyâs long gone favorite restaurant, jade. So thankful my friend introduced us to...

I had the beef and broccoli which had thin sliced carrots as well. The eggrolls were decent with tender shredded cabbage bits of sausage but slightly under seasoned. I would buy them again. Too often some restaurants take that Texas thing to far and give you an eggroll with more meat than vegetables. That doesn't matter to some because we layer them in sauce. The brown gravy was good and in balance with the meal. The only thing keeping them from getting five stars is their use of regular rice instead of a more fragrant Jasmine rise as other restaurants do and the lack of a better air unit. Will still go back but maybe for take out until they get rid...
