Although Cardo's is a local favorite & food is tasty, I often have a problem with the pizza quality. Mainly, it is tough to chew and I often call it "cardboard pizza" in my circle of friends. We all agree, it's tough to chew especially when reheated. I inquired at the restaurant about it, and they cited it is their dough roller and nothing can be done about it. So, I guess that's how it goes. Little Ceasars much easier to chew as well as all other pizza's available in town including frozen ones.
My other problem is the amount of greases dripping from the pizza's as well, very messy. So I googled what could cause that. Here's are possible reasons: (my opinion is that it's from the cheap meats on the pizza's) Google AI search: If a pizza is "really greasy," it means that it has an excessive amount of visible oil on the surface, usually coming from the cheese, pepperoni, or other toppings, as well as potentially from added oil in the dough or sauce, which can be a result of using too much fat in the ingredients or cooking methods that cause fats to separate and pool on the pizza. Key points about greasy pizza: Source of grease: Most often, the grease comes from the fat content in cheese (like mozzarella), pepperoni, sausage, and other meat toppings. Dough and sauce impact: Some pizza dough recipes also include added oil, and a heavy-handed application of olive oil on the crust can contribute to greasiness. Cooking factors: High heat during baking can cause fats to melt and separate, leading to a greasy appearance. What might a "greasy pizza" indicate: Poor quality ingredients: Using low-quality cheese with high fat content or overly processed meats can result in a...
Read moreI promised them I’d leave a review after they deleted a comment of my 80yr old family member calling her comment on a post to leave a review irrelevant and deleted it, when she wanted to leave a good review for them.
Decided to look into the establishment before texting them about why they did and they handled it extremely poorly, which seems to be a regular thing for them to do to their own community. This establishment has dishonest business owners who owe people money. The Axe throwing portion of this joint is an added on portion that they never paid for. Whether the pizza is good, the dishonesty in ownership leaves a bad taste in anyones mouth. This issue did not affect me too personally until I was made known how often the owners screw over other local businesses and contractors in the small town. Yes, there is evidence. Look up the owners name and you will see how often they screw people over in business. No matter how good the pizza might be, it will never pay back the damage he's done to his community.

Read moreI am delighted with the new location, as it is much more accessible. To enhance the customer experience, consider installing signage that explains the restaurant's operating procedures, such as seating and ordering protocols. For instance, a sign stating "Welcome to Cardo's. Please seat yourself, refer to the menu at your table, and place your order at the counter. We look forward to serving you" would be helpful. The menu appears to be missing the ice cream and floats, possibly a recent addition. The menus provide detailed descriptions of items and prices. Including the name of the food in the photos would be beneficial. I was impressed with the young lady, Rilynn, who took my order. She understood my specific request for a sandwich and handled it with professionalism and humor. I have mixed feelings about the openness of the dining area, feeling somewhat on display, but my husband appreciated the open layout. Different preferences are what make the...
