Dock's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Pell City

Went to one of our favorites for dinner tonight. Wife had a burger and fries and I had a patty melt and tots. Both were amazing and priced fairly. So here is my problem..... We ordered an appetizer of loaded tots at $9.99. Now I know, after being in foodservice sales for the largest supplier in the world for 40 years of my life, that tots are inexpensive to serve. About $0.09/tot. Now when I hear loaded tots with cheese and bacon, I expect to be charged the $9.99 for the loaded tots with cheese and bacon. So why is there a $1.99 charge on the bill for added cheese and bacon on the loaded tots?????? I will ask this question on my next trip in and I will talk to the owner Amber to find an answer if she doesn't see it on here. Thanks in advance and I sure hope it was a mistake as we really like this place. Pics are attached of the food...

The food is good, but both times we have been there, the service was slow. The 1st time it took a solid 1 1/2 hour for our group of 4 to get our food, and the 2nd time it was nearly 2 1/2 hours for a group of 9. No one ordered anything weird on either occasion; just nachos, steaks, burgers, and chicken fingers. It was hard to get a refill of water and beer, and while the waitress did apologize for the wait, it would have been good if they could offer something more like a discount or free appetizer, dessert, drink, etc. Again, the food was not bad, but the painfully slow service was not worth it. The name is odd; the restaurant is not on a dock or anywhere near a dock. They don't serve any food that would be considered "dock" food; no seafood or fish. The food is bar food; hamburgers and wings. They used to have a rib eye salad in which they used thick cut good quality rib eye. Unfortunately, that has changed to thin overcooked gristley meat. Half of it was unchewable on my last two orders of it. The husband of the owner team is friendly. The wife is pompous. If you visit in the afternoon, you will observe her walk in, throw her purse on the bar, go to the register and withdraw cash....
