I have heard pretty good things about this restaurant so I decided to try it out. Waited about 5mins for a hostess to arrive at the front not sure if she was on a bathroom break or what. Once she got back we were seated immediately which was a plus. Waitress was nice since it was my first time there she kept giving me time to look over the menu but checked back periodically. I ordered the Texas T-Bone which in the description it states ..."16 oz. is well marbled, juicy and grilled to perfection. Topped with garlic butter for extra flavor." Asked for it medium well. It came with 2 sides and I ordered 2 more red beans & rice, loaded mashed potatoes, string beans, and corn. I'll come back to the food let me talk about the drinks and apps. Ordered a strawberry iced tea which was horrible. No biggie I asked if I could switch it out for a root beer she said ok AND took the tea back. Texas Margarita was pretty sweet not that great but ok to drink. Croissant appetizer was about the best thing I had. Spinach dip was just ok. Ok now let's get back to this T-Bone. I know the meat is fire grilled but that doesn't mean I want to taste burnt meat in every bite. Medium well is not dry and burnt! Nicely told the waitress (which I hate sending food back) but I had to. She came put it on another plate and went to talk to the manager for me. Came back and said the manager said if they cook it again it'll still be the same so you just want us to take it off? Hungry as I was I just said yes to prevent more disappointment. Sides were ok but the corn never came out. Check comes and boom they took the steak off but had the nasty tea I didn't drink and the corn I didn't receive on the ticket. I'm a little agitated at this point but I'm still kind because the server was very nice. I tell her then she comes back with the corn to go! Ma'am I don't want the corn to go I'm not even taking ANY food with me. She leaves again comes back and says the manager couldn't do it on the register so here's $5bucks for your refund. I'm befuddled at this point! I left that $5 and $5 more for her tip and just left. Looked at the receipt after I'm gone and the drink & corn add up to about $7bucks not even $5. I don't have to ever come back here again. Menu isn't that extensive anyways.

Me and my family had only been to Cheddar's once and this was during a trip to Orlando. The food was really delicious and we remembered how the price was not so bad, so was a suggestion for us to go again. We had an impromptu plan to meet up with our family friends and our kids who are all the same age. The ambiance in the restaurant was great and they set us in a perfect spot for us and our total of 6 kids with lots of energy and excitement to enjoy ourselves. It was not as busy as we recall when we found out about this location months back and they were too busy for us to wait. Our server, Kenika M, was awesome. She was so attentive of us and our kids and very patient and helpful. She brought out some honey butter croissants for the table and they were so warm and delicious. I had the New Orleans Pasta which has shrimp, chicken, and sausage which was awesome with the Cajun flavored Alfredo sauce. I had the limited addition Strawberry Paradise Punch but it was blah. You can't taste any vodka or anything else. Was more lunch a regular strawberry fruit punch so I don't recommend as it would be a waste. My Hubby had the homemade chicken pot pie and said it was so good. He had that with the broccoli cheese casserole and ate it up so quickly. Definitely looking forward to coming back here to try other menu items such as a T-bone steak.

Update I went on Sunday 2/18/2024 at 11am. They didn't open doors till 5 minutes after 11am. I immediately went to the restroom and it was extremely dirty urine on the floors that smelled bad. My girlfriend had the same experience when she went to the restroom. Our table was not clean. This should have been my red flag to not order anything and just go because if it looks this bad where I can see I can only imagine the cleanliness in the kitchen. but I gave it a chance and waited about ten minutes before someone came and brought us cold croissants and said our waiter would be with us. All that time we can hear the staff joking and laughing in the back. We ordered the fried cheese white fish in cornmeal and fried shrimp. The cheese was soggy due to the fryer not being hot enough. The shrimp seemed fine and so did the fish . Until later that day I started feeling sick with stomach aches, food was coming up and I got a fever with a pounding headache. Went away the next day thankfully. I really loved this place unfortunately management isn't on top of food safety and cleanliness. Don't know if I can trust this place again Amazing as always the waitress was very diligent and thoughtful I recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying meal and to relax

Am reposting this experience here. I reported it on Yelp and they claimed it was flagged. Well here this goes. I went to the Pembroke Pine location and it was on a Monday, I brought my friend to celebrate her birthday which pass on Sunday. The restaurant was clean and not pack decent amount of customer. However, when we were seated we waited about 10 minute for our waiter. I called another waiter nearby and his name was Craig, he told us that he will check and find our waiter, came back and advise us that he will be our waiter as he doesn't know where the one assign to us was.

As he is taking our order we told him we wanted to cheddar trio two entrees and two pain killers. The wait for our drink was more than 20 minutes, we received the croissants which was delicious and than we got our entrée before getting the appetizer. We ask the waiter Craig why we received our meal before the appetizer and he claim that our ticket was lost and he reported to the Manager and it is coming. After waiting, I requested another round of drinks which never came to our table. I went to the bar myself and requested my drink, the bartender told me that my waiter never put it in, I later spoke to the Manager about my experience, he apologized and comp my cheddar trio. We were there for 2 hours with very slow service that wasn't an experience I had in the past with Cheddars located in Commercial.

I just wanted to advise that when there is a new waiter please be with him train him better, he was new but did his best and wasn't completing order correctly or at all. I should had more comp toward my bill because I had to get my drink order and we almost didn't get our appetizer. I won't be going back to the Pembroke pines...
