La Flor de Tamarindo – A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering! La Flor de Tamarindo is hands down one of my favorite places to eat. It’s the kind of spot you stumble upon once and can’t stop coming back to. It’s a true hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets. The food here is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve tried many of the dishes mentioned in other reviews — the Cuban breakfast, French toast, omelettes, homemade fried potatoes — and every single one has been spot on. The portions are generous, the flavors are rich and satisfying, and everything tastes homemade in the best possible way. And let’s talk about the coffee — whether it's a smooth café con leche or a bold Cuban espresso, the drinks here are just as memorable as the food. Perfectly balanced and packed with flavor, they pair beautifully with any breakfast or midday bite. The staff is another highlight. Friendly, polite, and always welcoming, they make the whole dining experience warm and enjoyable. You feel like a valued guest every time you walk through the door. With its wide variety of delicious dishes, reasonable prices, and amazing service, La Flor de Tamarindo is a place I’d recommend to anyone. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a must-try. I completely agree with all the other positive reviews. This place truly lives up to the hype!

Probably the most surprising experience you'll ever get from a "gas station" Cafe. They have tables inside with picture menus showing the most beautifully presented dishes, and I can attest that they look like the pictures and they taste even better. It is very inspiring to see how someone with a vision of grand cuisine has made a small gas station Cafe an experience competing with luxury style restaurants. Is all about commitment and striving for better. They deserve more stars than I can give. Highly recommended.

In my opinion this place is for people who sit down to eat breakfast, or grab something quick to go; and for people (like me) who wants something Latin quick and go. It was not the case this morning, food here is great and the setting to sit down and eat is nice. But the attitude and customer service from Zuslady (the clerk at the counter) was horrible. with a passive aggressive attitude she would treat customers like if they were stupid and made sarcastic remarks when she was called on something improper. For example, we were 7 people waiting for her, when I got there there were two guys still waiting. She would not focus on each person, and it is good that she tries to multitask, but she needs to empathize and LISTEN more with the client's needs. She asked all of us what we wanted, and without letting us finish she will make herself busy doing the first thing she remembers. She dose not listen. Then she will blame it on that life is not easy and circumstances of life. It is not pleasant to come to this place for a craving, or waiting patiently for your food, when someone with her attitude is the clerk. The three guys next to me who were waiting left, they had already ordered; the woman next to me asked for a sandwich which burnt because Zuslady or Zusladies was tangled into something else, she took the sandwich and showed it burnt to the lady and asked if she wanted it, the lady said no, then Zusladies threw it out (and maybe the other guys orders as well, wasting food). Another customer told her to please hurry up nicely, and she asked him if we wanted to wear her apron in a sarcastic manner. The good thing is that I told her what I thought and she was nice about it, did not apologize. I could tell she was mad, but someone had to tell her something. This place lost 4 customers while I was standing there, more than half hour waiting for a wrap and a media noche. She was not alone, someone could help her out. She makes it look like she is the one doing everything, and swamped, but in reality she does not let anyone help her, because another lady tried and she said: " leave it there, I'll take care of it" This is not to have anybody fired, I just wanted to address the issue bcs this place is amazing, very convenient, food is great, I would not like for other people to go through that and it could be better if there is an improvement in...

Disgusting and rude owners of the place, never going back there again, not even to put gas in my car. I have been visiting La Flor del Tamarindo for a long time and recently came through by an incident that truly disappointed me with the level of customer service and how poorly the owners treat their employees. The owners are very rude, disinterested and unresponsive to customer and employees needs. ALL EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A LUNCH BRAKE OR ANY OTHER SORT OF BREAKS! Workers have a right to at least a 30-minute meal break or each 6 hours worked in a calendar day!!!!!!! And yelling at your employees in front of everyone eating? Really? How embarrassing for you guys. Overall, the poor customer service from this place really left me with a negative impression of the small restaurant and their staff. I will never go back there again, and I am willing to tell MANY people not...
