We've been here several times with no issues until today when we saw how extremely poor management and staff is in terms of customer service. We have a Flanigan's in Davie but chose to make the trip here and wait 1 hour because of us liking the location. The sandwiches were good on previous visits and the small but cosy Flanigan's is usually well decorated. My husband and I ordered the shrimp scampi and the philly cheese sandwich and both dishes were lackluster. My shrimp scampi was literally boiled pasta tossed on a plate with parmasean coated shrimp on top alongside garlic bread and sauce. It is definitely not worth the $15 but I ate it since I was hungry and was planning on just not buying it again. HOWEVER, my husband's philly was extremely disgusting since the bread on the bottom had an odor reminiscent of smoke/dirty sewage water and the plate had that same smell to it. I could literally smell it right across from him. Upon inspection it smelled exactly like that--it was very off putting and NOT how a sandwich should smell like at all. We ask our waitress for a manager and one comes over asking what he could help us with. My husband asks him to please smell the sandwich and that there is something horribly wrong with it. The man hesitates and smells twice before saying that's "how the Philly meat smells like". Baffled, we then are told that he'll check with the main manager on this and have her smell it while taking the plate with him. Upon her arrival a few minutes later (withOUT the plate in question), she asks how she could help us. My partner decribes it to her and she completely rebukes our complaint and said that the Philly meat is supposed to smell like that and takes NO accountability whatsoever for the plate or what had occured. It was very poor customer service and this comes from someone who works in the same field. My husband was indirectly told that he was incorrect and that there was nothing wrong which is where I kindly provided my feedback to her in saying that I inspected it myself and it should not smell badly as it had. She did not care whatsoever and made that known with our interaction with her..Apparently being very busy on St.Patrick's Day warrants poor service and poor staff. Our waitress was lackluster as well which lead to our whole visit being unsatisfactory. The meat smelled great actually, it was the bread itself and the plate that was embedded with that putrid odor. Needless to say we are NEVER coming back here and will be taking our business elsewhere--I will deter anyone from this location if possible unless you want to deal with horrendous service all around. Showed an immense amount of immaturity with his person feelings towards coworkers who are not part of his clique. On multiple occasions I was asked to do strenuous lifting activities while he stands in the kitchen in a group side convo about video games with male employees. Iâve personally walked into the office to hear him having another personal conversation with another manager with the statement of âI am a very petty personâ (how ironic right!?) the reason I was unexpectedly rudely fired was because I took accountability for an unpaid order not being on the shelf for to go.. mind u thereâs three different ppl on one register during the shift. Now I could understand if this was a continuous occurrence but I simply owned up to it.. just a day before twice one new employee had the same thing happen on her shift and another manager (Paul) simply removed the orders. She was never reprimanded. As well as knowing and respecting other employees for choosing to pay for missing and unpaid orders when it happens on their shift⊠I simply was not willing to pay for the $35 order and told management about it. All of this happened just two days after receiving a $100 bonus and compliment from corporate for my hard work and commitment to the company and for having help improve ratings and numbers on the back end. Once i got the text it took me 3 min to get there LITERALLY, when I get there DANIEL the guy who save my number and its at the entrance said that he gave my table to someone else because I took too long . He even said its a 4 min policy waiting time but it took me less. I proceeded to ask for a manager when the so call âmanagerâ GRISELLE FLORES get there, she doesnât even look at me or introduce herself ahe go straight to talk to Daniel and tell him we have to wait anyway. So while she talks to him whiteout even a knowledge my existence there the othe manager Fabrizio is standing there so I approached him trying to explain him why I was upsed and all the situation so after she sees that she who straight to me saying âwhatâs up! Whatâs the matter?!â When I proceeded to explaing her that her actitud was unprofessional and she was talking with an attitude she just ignored me and walk away while she said âyou deal with themâ to Fabrizzio. They not only take long time to come after I requested a manager but also didnât even want to listen to me in the first place, I love Flaniganâs but this specific store its a mess and that so call âmanagerâ GRISELLE FLORES always shows how deplorable and unprofessional job she does, as a costumer I sincerely think people like this shouldnât be working on such position.
