I can’t eat a lot of the food here because I don’t eat pork but there are still chicken, beef, and seafood options. I ordered the sizzling beef bulalo (beef in mushroom gravy). My sister ordered the chicken sisig (seasoned chicken chunks with vegetables) and her friend ordered the kare-kare (ox-tail in peanut-based gravy).

I think my dish was the most delicious because it was well-seasoned with a creamy rich sauce. It reminded me of a non-fried version of country-fried steak and gravy. All dishes were served with plain, white rice (not Jasmine rice). My sister’s dish tasted okay. It did not have enough sauce for my liking. The oxtail was tender but did have a good amount of cartilage and gristle. The peanut-sauce was savory with some fresh string beans. I’m used to Jamaican style ox-tail so this was a little plain for my taste.

My sister also ordered a taro slush with boba which had a great, creamy, perfectly sweet flavor. We shared a halo-halo. It was plenty for 2 – 3 people. Some of the best halo-halo I have had. I love that they add frosted flakes a topping. It gives it surprising, unique crunch.

I’m not mad at the food here. The service was decent, especially our male waiter who answered all our questions and gave us a unique perspective as a Filipino native.

Overall, authentic Filipino food at a great price. Interested to taste their desserts like biko...

My year has just been made! Up untIl today, Pampanguena was my go to place for authentic Filipino food. That was until my two Filipino coworkers informed me of this hidden gem that is literally 5 minutes away from my home. It's located in the same plaza that I get my pizza from Pizza Hut (go figure!).

I was lucky enough to get there before the lunch rush. Unfortunately the BBQ skewers weren't ready but that's an easy excuse for me to go back...as if I need one. I really had my tastebuds set on those. Anywho I ordered the Pancit Bihon and the Lumpia Shanghai! My absolute favs! Everything was made fresh and I love fresh pancit!

The portions were plentiful and very delicious. The pancit was better than Pampanguena's pancit. I think it was the generous amount of cabbage that was in it.

Regardless of what it was, I will certainly be back. Especially to try the BBQ...

We stopped by here earlier this month for breakfast on our way home from the airport. There were only a couple of Filipino places to eat in the area so we chose Manila Grill and BBQ since it wasn't out of our way. It was nice that they have the common breakfast we all ate when we were kids like tapsilog and longsilog. The food was very good. The only problem was that no one checked on us after we received our food. Somehow, they forgot our drinks so I had to walk up to the counter to notify them. The staff was wonderful though. They were very friendly and respectful. We'll most likely be back to try the other dishes on the menu that really look appetizing. I just hope they would check on us after serving our dinner. First Filipino food restaurant I've found in Florida and one of the best I've experienced. Coming from jersey city and born in Quezon City, I have a lexicon of Filipino food, it's flavors and textures. This was fantastic. I wanted it to be disappointing like the rest of Florida cuisine, but it wasn't. I haven't tried everything on their menu, but I plan on doing so. It's clean. It's friendly. And most importantly it is delicious. I had the sago and gulaman and the sinigang. The sinigang could compete with restaurants I've had in the Philippines and is better than the ones I've made at home. Happy I found this place.

Delicious food at Manila grill & Bbq always! This is a neighborhood staple for real deal Filipino food. The service is the best in all of South Florida! I don’t mind driving 30-45min for the weekly HaLo Halo dessert that they prepare! The halo halo here has the best ingredients and plentiful portion size even though my wife and I get our own to indulge in. All the appetizers, bangus, pork skewers, Shanghai lumpia, Loganisa, and spaghetti are my favorite combo. For dinner we love the milk fish bangus with a side of egg plant torta.
