Grand opening for this new Asian eatery! It's west of Pines and previously at the Rainbow Dragon location. This family owned restaurant does a mix of different Asian cuisines ranging from Thai, Chinese, Japanese, to even having boba!
We were skeptical going at first since fusion places are usually a hit or miss, but this place proved us wrong! We ordered a beef pad thai, braised pork fried rice, and two orders of chicken wings (honey, and korean flavored) to go. There's a few places to sit if you choose to dine in. Because it's the grand opening, we received a free order of fried donuts since order was $35+ - so yummy and only for a limited time!
While waiting, Jay, at the front was kind enough to let us try one of their bubble teas! It was so nice of him because we were deciding if we wanted one and he read our minds. Pretty good as well so 2 for 2 on food and drink. Prices and serving sizes are also reasonable!
Can't wait to come back and try...
Read moreAll my favorite oriental spots been slipping. I was at home thinking I'm so tired of traveling all over for good food. I googled good food near me and found Umami Fusion. I been driving everyday past that place forever didn't even know they were there. It was new to me but they been there almost 2 years. From reading the reviews I knew I had to try the Pad Thai Noodle, I ask for extra spicy and ask if I could add chicken, char siu, and shrimp. It was amazing and flavorful. My family ordered Szechuan chicken stir fry, beef broccoli stir fry, plus hot and sour soup. Fantastic everybody was happy. We now order often whenever we can, but I fell in love with the Pad Thai Noodle. Family could order whatever they want but don't forget my Pad Thai Noodle. I met the 2 young guys working front cashier and an older gentlemen. Very nice and pleasant people. Wish they were bigger to dine in but its ok. Take-out works just fine and there is no...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of catering from Umami, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. One common concern with Chinese food is that it can go stale quickly, but this was not the case here. My guests brought home leftovers, and when we warmed them up the next day, the food was still fresh and delicious.
The flavors were vibrant, and each dish retained its taste and quality, which is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to freshness. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that we had plenty to enjoy during our gathering.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to cater Asian cuisine. The food not only impressed my guests but also held up beautifully for the next day. A fantastic...
