Victor's Bakery — Restaurant in Pembroke Pines

My family and I have been coming here for years since we live around the corner, I would say this place is always a hit or miss. Staff depending on the time you go is friendly, the older lady it's always constantly friendly as the younger one I had an experience once with her that I was standing in front of the register to order and she started shouting for the next customer when clearly I was the next person in line which to me it seemed kind of odd, but whatever.

As far as the food it is the same, I am Colombian and I have my fair share of Pandebonos in my life, the ones they make here are nothing compared to a real pan de bono but that's to expect since it's a cuban cafeteria. Pastries are sometimes good and sometimes they are not. But again there are many good things such as the price point of the food items. I love getting breakfast here but I always ask for not potatoes on my eggs and their coffee.

So to sum it up they are not the best bakery around but at least they get my belly full...

Got their Rise and shine breakfast, which was supposed to be eggs any style. However, even after I tried explaining fried eggs, I got scrambled. Also, lady asked me if I wanted potatoes or hash browns. I was excited for hash browns just to get McDonald's style hash brown brick. Pastelito was good. Fresh tasty and fairly priced. Egg breakfast was much to be desired for $13. Not recommended. Take pastelitos and other bakery items instead. Coffee that I got with my breakfast was kinda weak. That was another...

My mother in law lives at this place. Eats lunch or breakfast every day there . We ordered the traditional Noche Buena pork and flan and they were A+. I’ve been the fortunate recipient of many pastelitos,croquetas and other goodies almost every day . Their Cuban bread is great and always fresh. I’ve lived here since 1978 and can say this is the best so far. The service is fast and friendly and much better than the other two bakeries that I used to frequent . Their pan con bistec is awesome!
