This place has been the local neighborhood Wendy's for years, and I have not seen many changes besides the new staff every other month New faces. As me being a health food inspector, of course they did not know; but I played cool order a Dave single for a $1 that they had post on the Wendy's store front window.also on the Wendy's app. The manager told me that she couldn't honor me the price because it was no longer on the app. I stated to her that if it was discontinued, it would have to come off the app. She reasured me that it was not on there, so she made a phone call speaking in Spanish, come back to the register, and make the same statement that the promotion was over. By time that, 3 others that were standing in line wanted to order the same item. After waiting, going back in forward for a $1 burger 🍔 she then told me after the other customers left that she was doing me a favor this one time but she will not be able to do that again. I gave her a look like how you figure you doing me a service,when the app clearly tells you how to redeem the discount & you have it posted on the Wendy WIndow. As she explains in Spanish to another manager, I notice that NO ONE WASHES THERE HANDS NOR SANITIZE AFTER touching many things with the same gloves on. one associate was standing on the bin where the fries pushed her hair back behind her ear 3x with gloves on. I watch her serve others the food. I saw a few cooks touch her glasses to put back on her face while using the same gloves on her hand. The manager in drive thru short Asian women touch her headpiece, take money with gloves, and serve the customers without changing the gloves. I page another health inspector to visit the store because I was not assigned to the store and boy ohhhhhhh boyyyyyy. LETS just say they have to do better, and I will not be returning. Read moreVisited the store on 9/24 at 8:15 pm - The manager was very unpleasant after watching several customers complain about receiving the wrong orders. The line in the drive thru went around the building. The line inside the restaurant reached the door; however, there were 2 employees eating chinese food inside the restaurant. Once they punched back in, they searched through their cell phones, bagged up their leftover Chinese food and barely greeted the customers. When a customer came over to complain about her sandwich in her broken English, the Spanish speaking employee refused to help her discuss her order and rolled her eyes as the customer attempted to discuss how the sandwich did not resemble the picture. The employee's responded by saying she did not make the sandwich and asked the customer what did she want while rolling her eyes at the customer. The employee continued to ridicule the customer and make derogatory statements to the other employees. The manager was standing 2 inches from each of the employees and allowed the behavior to continue. The manger saw the food lining up near the Tea section and did not request assistance to pass out the orders. All orders were produced out of the order they were taken. So those who stood in line for 15 min received their food way after those who were just entering the store. The manager was then asked by a second customer to add a tea to his order and she responded by telling him to wait for assistance as she could not help him, yet she proceeded to search through her cell phone instead of helping the customer or requesting backup. I was disappointment with the service at this store, the disrespect of the front counter staff, the manager's lack of interest and leadership skills and the derogatory statements made towards the customers after knowing English was not their native language or...
Read morePines West location is atrocious....What has happen to actually caring about cleanliness, customer service and timely service???? I don't usually review fast food locations because you get what you get as a gamble from location to location but this particular location takes the cake in the "how horrible can it be"???? This location had not a single table that was clean enough to sit, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been visited by a worker in a cpuple days, the employees appear like they are all 12 and don't understand the English language ( no lettuce means no greens and i get "huh, whats that" ) and finally the wait for my meal was superior in the toilet department.. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich and had to wait 15min for them to cook one because they didn't anticipate the need during a dinner rush.....seriously people???? Coming from someone that grew up working at a Taco Bell training store where speed of service, cleanliness, appearance and effort / honest hard work was the upmost importance. Lost art apparently to expect a simple meal in a clean place. Oh, and prepare yourself for the definition of walking on roach sticky paste floor. ...
