Alumni Sports Cafe — Restaurant in Pembroke

Stopped by again about a half hour prior to the Start of the Superbowl. The Bar was not too Crowded I wanted to have a Nice Pizza and a couple of Beers prior to watching the Football Game. I Sat and Waited and Waited and Waited for a Very Long Time for the Young Brunette Female Barmaid to Acknowledge Me. However, She was Just Far To Engulfed in Talking with her Friends to Do The JOB for which she was HIRED to DO. So I WALKED out of the ALUMNI and Drove down the street to CHRISTINA'S Restaurant, sat at the Bar, and was Immediately recognized and attended to. I had a great meal at CHRISTINA'S and the ALUMNI LOST my BUSINESS. MAYBE the Owner should have a talk with the Young Generation Staff, they are Hired to Serve the Restaurant Patrons not to Socialize with their Friends or Media Devices. The Alumni is a Community Gem My sister, Lisa has ALS and the owners of the Alumni, Pat and Linda Gibbons were so gracious in donating proceeds of their annual comedy show to my sister. Linda personally fundraised and reached out to the community to help Lisa. On the evening of the event, Linda and her wonderful staff made sure everyone was taken care of in a sea of customers. Lisa and her family, and friends had a great time at the show and I’m forever grateful for the outpouring of love for my sister. The food selection and pizzas were plentiful and tasty, the drinks were ice cold, and the service was incredible. The highlight of the night was Ms Christine Hurley (Comedian Extraordinaire). Not only did she bring down the house, she matched the show’s donations to Lisa. To Linda and Christine, Thank you so much for your generosity and community spirit. You are GEMS!

Just ordered takeout, Chicken ceaser wrap and potato skins. Apparently the cooks decided they didn't want to cook the chicken or add any croutons to the wrap, because It was right before closing, 9:25pm. Didn't realize the kitchen closed that early, google says they close at 1am. Pretty obvious it was deliberate, kinda hard to not notice you didn't put the chicken and curtons in a wrap. Called back 10 minuets after leaving the place and was only offered a refund on the wrap, because apparently kitchen was closed. Its 10pm at night, this is my dinner after working 9+ hours. My parents go here alot. I've ordered here before. Food is good, but I'm absolutely livid about this. You'd think at the very least you'd offer to refund the whole meal or have one of the guys who's still there spend 6 or 7 minuets to make another wrap. It's not like it's a lengthy...
