I don’t normally visit Taco Bell and tonight I was reminded of why. The guy working the window was incompetent or stoned because though I asked for a napkins and salsa, he attempted to hand me a bag that had neither. When I asked what kind of Salsa they had, he asked if I wanted “breakfast salsa.” I was confused by this because I seem like most places they would have at least mild, medium and hot. When I inquired further, he told me that they had “breakfast salsa, red salsa, and green salsa.” I asked for one breakfast salsa, and one red salsa. I was surprised when I arrived at my hotel to find that I had received 7 packets of breakfast salsa. I was even more surprised to discover that the Red salsa did not appear to be premade, and it looked and smelled like enchilada sauce. Given that Taco Bell is a huge franchise, I assume that all of their salsa should come premade in plastic packets. I googled and discovered that Taco Bell is supposed to have at least five different salsa is available, all of which are premade and packaged in plastic. I’m not sure what happened at this location. Did they run out of salsa and have someone run to the storebto pick up salsa, and they accidentally picked up enchilada sauce instead? Or did they pinch hit and just start scooping enchilada sauce into their own plastic contsinets thinking the customers wouldn’t be able to discern the difference? I don’t expect much from Taco Bell, but expect a little better service than this, and certainly a higher quality control re: the food. I don’t know who owns this location, but they need to spend more time training their employees. I’m giving this location a generous two stars because my crunch wrap was edible, even though I didn’t have any decent salsa to...
Read moreI think they spent more time remaking our orders than they took to make them in the first place. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. So our order was like $70.
1st. They didn't have chalupa items on their menu. So i asked the counter lady if they had the 3 cheese chicken flatbread. Its one of the only things the baby can eat. And I asked for no spicy sauce. they both had spicy sauce. Thankfully the Gentleman was super kind and remade them. We ordered 2 luxe boxes, they forgot the chalupas. *Same guy went back and made them. They were out of empanadas. But they still let us order 4 of them. We ordered a cantina bowl. And everything we took off was on there. They put spicy sauce on another one of the kids nachos even though we took it off at the order menu. But I didn't realize it until we were leaving and she had only had a few bites which is normal but then I asked her why she only took a few bites and she said it was spicy. But everyone was leaving and so we didn't have it remade ill get her something later at home.
At this point one family member just gave up on dinner and left because they messed up her food and they had messed up other orders and it was taking to long to grt her food and she needed to leave.
There was no toilet paper in the men's restroom just a stack of napkins.
The older cashier lady that was at the window made it seem like the BACK UP was the kitchens fault and though yes they are partially to blame she sent the wrong order out the window, causing them to have to remake that order and then make the person's actually order.
I dont normally leave one star reviews, but they really...
Read moreTaco bell is my absolute favorite fast food place to eat at and always has been. Unfortunately I don't get to eat there very often and sadly that is by choice. I choose to not eat at Taco Bell unless I am not in Hermiston and it is a whole different Taco Bell. Ever since the Taco Bell here finished their remodel the service at the restaurant has DRASTICALLY DECLINED. Before the remodel the business had a pretty awesome crew working and the employee's were pretty efficient at their job. The night crew had an especially awesome man who worked there. I have no idea what happened to any of the employee's who worked at Taco Bell before the remodel. I wish they would bring back those employee's because the people that work there now are completely inefficient at their job. It takes 15 minutes on a good day to get your food after you have ordered and paid. Although the usual wait time though is 20-30 minutes and that is absolutely no joke. A lot of the time the employee's have messed up or forgot some part of your order. One does not want to have the mistake or forgotten item or items fixed because you have already waited so long for your order. The drive through always has a long line and it to takes FOREVER to get through. Inside you see the employee's working, half hearted. They are slow and the looks on their faces is usually confused. They have zero urgency and seemingly zero desire to have satisfied customer's. I really have no idea what happened after or during the remodel but I honestly wish they kept the old look with the former employee's because now I never want to eat at the place I used to always...
