Rolbertos Mexican Food — Restaurant in Pendleton

First timer. I had invited a friend but she couldn't make it, besides I wanted to try it out first. The menu size was overwhelming so I asked for a suggestion on something for just one person. The cashier suggested the rolled tacos but I had to ask what was in them as she didn't explain. I think whomever takes orders in the front should be a little more helpful since most people are new and don't know how things are yet. Plus she wasn't very friendly they should definitely put someone up there that's a little more upbeat and doesn't expect you to know everything. Well, the rolled tacos tasted better than frozen store bought, added lettuce, green sauce and sour cream. I think the taco joint across the street has them beat with these, though. I could always add lettuce and sour cream. However I did enjoy the tiny salsa bar with fresh cucumbers, salsa, and carrots with jalapenos. I didn't mind the Styrofoam plates and plastic silverware because it's not a full service restaurant and the prices were okay. The place was very clean. I might return someday for a burrito...

First time testing the place, me and my son both got a monster burrito and a plate to split... but trust me when I say that even if your a big Eater !? You only need to get the monster burrito! I ate half and was stuffed! My son worked on his for about 6 hours lol... not only are they huge!? They are great! Most places that have a " monster" have a lot of filler, such as a LOT of rice and beans, and very little meat, but not this one! While it does have all of those things? It still had a lot of meat and a ton of flavor! Fantastic burrito! Worth every penny. And the plate we got? We didn't eat until the next day, but man was it good, even cold! We also loved the salsa bar! Getting to choose your own sauces , limes, etc.. and being able to grab a many as you want was nice! We are definitely going to be going back AGAIN! One other thing that both my son and I are happy about, is their late hours!!! Not sure if they're going to be 24 hours? But if they stay open till midnight!? That just makes it that much better! Since everyplace else in this town closes...

On 10/8/24, I visited Rolberto’s for the first time. The reviews were bit mixed, but I was optimistic given that there are numerous locations of this business. I ordered the taco plate with just a single taco. The service from the young man at the counter was good. The interior was clean and comfortable. There was a nice salsa bar. My meal looked good, but appearances are deceiving. Both rice and beans were flavorless. The taco meat had a strange texture. It was if it had been boiled. It was flavorless. Despite spending 8+ dollars, after taking a couple of bites, I threw it in the garbage.
