If we could rate this salon a 0 we would. These girls are very young and disrespectful. They are deceiving and will do whatever they can as long as it benefits them. Almost every single one of the stylists is either pregnant or on leave from having a baby. Ashley brings her son to her work and he runs around the salon no problem. When my daughter came in with me and my mother in law to get the hair installed that she didn’t even want, we sat in waiting chairs by the corner and got rudely told to leave the salon due to “policy”. Which Ashley told us at my previous visit that my daughter was fine to sit wherever as long as she didn’t touch anything. Which she didn’t because she’s old enough to know better. Unlike these kids they have. The boss was there that day I guess and she made us leave. Yet the employees can have toddlers running around hot tools? Very unprofessional. I went in and had a full highlight done and I referred my mother in law to the same woman who did my hair for highlights as well (Ashley B). During my mother in law’s appointment Ashley mentioned hair extensions and my mother in law said she would THINK about getting them but she didn’t say yes 100%.. Ashley went and paid with her own personal money for two rows of extensions leading to my mother in law HAVING TO pay $1,500 when she never gave Ashley money for them to begin with because it was going to be too much maintenance and my mother in law was not wanting to do it. Ashley told her she could pay her back and not get them installed or she could pay for it and get them installed. Either way she FORCED her to pay for extensions. We are not happy. When I would call to try and set up another appointment she would rudely ignore me. I went in with my mother in law a couple days ago because her hair extensions were falling out due to Ashley’s poor service. Crazy $1,500 and this is how customers are treated and also extensions falling out? Clearly the board needs to speak to these woman and I will be reporting them. DO NOT GO THERE. Unless you want to be belittled and talked bad about. That’s what the stylists do, they talk crap about other clients to workers and customers. That’s very unprofessional and toxic. Asked for a layered cut to my shoulder, and to make a review short. it was so bad that even the salon owner Acknowledged how “very poorly” my hair was cut. She asked me to remove my review because it reflected poorly on her. Even though it was out of her salon that she approved the hairstylist to represent her salon to cut my hair. She not only tried to play the victim but she removed her salon from Facebook and blocked me after asking me what she could of done to make feel important as a customer. The ladies at the Speakeasy Salon and Spa are the most talented and giving ladies! I run a moms group here in town and the ladies from the Speakeasy come to our spa night every year to donate their services! Our moms get spoiled by these ladies! I have personally had my hair done by Ashley and she never disappoints! On the Spa side, I have had a pedi by Brooke and it was the most relaxing time!
