ADA seating in the Party Pit??!! These people are so awesome! I was able to sit away from the crowd and not worry about medical issues interfering with the show. I couldn't get any other tickets and was sure I'd wasted my money and wouldn't be able to stay but I was so happy they thought about those that might need an area like that. (Suggestion, it'd be so cool to have an area like this for the pre party on main street. Possibly behind the flashing lights so those with TBIs don't have seizures.) Only two issues and it was hard for them to control because there were so many people, the people I came with couldn't sit with me because they were in a different area even though the entire ADA area was empty but I understand that would've been giving special treatment a bit and second the people asking me why I got the area all to myself and what my disability was or those standing and leaning on the gate in front of the area blocking the stage and those leaning over the rail behind me dribbling their drinks down my shirt. Not cool people! Those are personal questions you don't ask anyone! Regardless if I'm a veteran or not, why, were and how I was hurt is not a strangers business, especially during an event we're trying to enjoy! The staff and the Sheriff's were amazing and professional. Thank you so much for all your help and just being there! You guys rocked! The RV spot we got was also amazing, I'm not saying where but we hit gold and the RV camp helpers were also amazing. Very helpful happy guys! Answered the phone immediately for any questions! Anyways, thank you Pendleton for thinking of people with disabilities! I hope we can get tickets to...
Read moreTheir security company Rovers Security, employee Cassandra Cason escorted me to the gate because she said my dog for whom I've got a prescription to have and I presented it to her, claimed that a dog that provides maintenance of physical and mental health did not qualify to be in the Octoberfest venue. First of all I didn't raise my voice or anything which would make you think I couldn't be trusted to take my dog out on my own. This felt disrespectful to me. I did explain that because you can't see what it is in me going on doesn't mean it doesn't exist. In this day and age of trying to be more aware of the importance of mental health i just wanted to take this opportunity to make a point. There are many mental and physical needs for canine support. Thank you to those of you who took the time to read...
Read moreVery disappointed this year. Rodeo was awful on Saturday drug on forever! No "Entertainment." Part of the experience is the interaction between the clown and the announcer this year there was none. The clown didn't entertain the crowd at all in fact I didn't realize there was one there until the Bull Riding! The announcer couldn't be heard or understood over the loud speaker and what happened to the Indian races? I love that part! It seems like every year the costs go up and the experience goes down. Thinking of skipping it next year and I have attended for at least 17 consecutive years. I noticed that attendance seemed to be down and I can understand why. I had some fun don't get me wrong but it is a shame to see it...
