We ordered a big daddy online and ordered half with sausage green pepper half plain after an HOUR of waiting we opened the box to find a big daddy with one half sausage and one half green pepper. Took it back because I won’t eat anything but plain pizza and the new manager was very rude saying that he didn’t answer the phone for this but then soon realized we ordered online and then continued to say you must’ve ordered it this way… nope. We have the receipt and the email BOTH stating the way we ordered it and it wasn’t what we got. Then went on to say you only have one cook.. Offered a medium plain..okay, fine but that could’ve been done without the blame to your customer when it was your fault. Also we had to wait for the other pizza while the one got cold. Really in reality you should have remade the pizza we ordered correctly because we still aren’t getting what we ordered. We use to get pizza from here almost weekly if not more, but under this new management I’m not sure we will be back. They came to my work place and offered 15 percent off our order stating they didn’t have much business, and we were going to place a rather large order for a work lunch, but now I’m going to patronize someone else that needs...
Read moreUnfortunately, we have had a few bad experiences with Fox's in Penn Hills lately. This last time we ordered a Big Daddy (for some reason the Champ is not on the menu any longer). First, the pizza arrived and it was just warm and it took almost 90 minutes to arrive. The time seems to be increasing on deliveries. Second, the box was crushed, not the first time. Then they forgot to add the 2 Liter we ordered (we'll see if they take it off the bill). Then the pizza itself was weird. The taste was not as good as usual and the one side of the pizza was thinner that the other side. The sad thing is this was one of the few places in Penn Hills we still use but it just seems to be getting worse. I understand new owners/management but when the quality keeps getting worse and the service is getting worse it is hard to stay loyal. We usually give a place 3 times to see if it is just a bad day but this is consistently getting worse. We noticed these issues over the past four orders. My wife (who is pregnant) and I had shared a steak hoagie and while I was eating my half, I bit into something that was extremely bitter and I immediately spit it out and we stopped eating. When I called both the employee and manager I spoke with were rude. The manager (Josh) claimed that he made the hoagie and he had been using the same products all night so there couldn't have been a problem (great customer service 😕). He offered to remake the food which I declined because of there is something wrong with their products I didn't want to run the risk of me or my pregnant wife getting sick. I tried to explain to him why and he cut me off and said, "if you don't want me to remake the food then why are we having this conversation" (customer service at its finest 😂), I told him I would like a refund.
