I've been to this McDonald's lots of times. It's fairly new. So, it's pretty clean. Usually, it's a 4 to 5 star experience. However, on my most recent visit, the quality of the service, I received, was EXTREMELY poor. I ordered only French fries and chicken tenders, at the drive- thru. And, it took just over 30 minutes to get my food. About 10 minutes into my wait, I asked what the problem was. I was told they're still making my chicken tenders. I asked if I could, at least, have my French fries, if they were ready. And, the window clerk brought them to me. But, they were ice cold. I tried waving my hands, for a few minutes, to get the clerks attention. It took me beeping my horn multiple times, to get her to come over. But, she did it with such a nasty attitude. She took back my fries and dropped them right into the grease. Then, she brought them back to me. Now, they were hot, but hard and dried out. So, I kept that order of fries and asked for new fries to be made for me. She got really nasty and accused me of trying to get free fries. I explained that I would give her the now warm, hard and dried out fries, once I received the new fries. She made it very clear she didn't like the idea. But, I didn't leave her any other choice. At this point, I had been waiting 25 minutes, since I placed my order. I still had NOT received the chicken tenders. And, I had been given the same inedible fries twice. So, I put the "concerns and complaints" phone number into my cell phone, to call the next day. Finally, a little over 30 minutes from the time I placed my order, the window clerk brought my food to me. I asked to speak with the manager. But, I was told that there was no manager on duty. She said she was the most senior employee on duty. But, she was only a high school student. I know this, based on the conversations, which I overheard her having with other employees. The next day, sadly, I still felt obligated to call the "concerns and complaints" number. I left a message. But, no one called back. So, I left 3 mores messages, over the next 5 days. And, I still have NOT received a return call. If this is how management responds to a customer's concerns and issues, it's no wonder why the employees feel such atrocious behavior is acceptable. I think I'll just drive to the Holiday Park McDonald's. It's a bit further away. But, the food and service are...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald's ever. They are always messing up my family orders. They forgot to put slivered onions on my cheeseburgers and I asked for extra fries instead of the apple slices for my son and daughter's happy meals, but they didn't get the extra fries nor even any apple slices. So I called the rest of the night, never got through to anyone, however the following morning I was able to finally get through. The manager said he would replace my cheeseburgers and give two new happy meals. Well when I got there, the wannabe manager asked if I brought the food back, I said no because that was the previous night and I couldn't reach anyone every time I called. She went on about how that's their policy and kept interrupting me when I tried to explain to her that I talked to the manager and he said he would replace everything. Needless to say she went and asked him and then came back to the register all apologetic, well maybe if she would have tried to listen to me in the first place, stayed in her place as a cashier instead of trying to play manager then she wouldn't have gotten embarrassed. She finally brought me my food after waiting for like 10 mins and I checked my cheeseburgers and noticed there were still no onions, so she took them in the back, while the sandwich maker added onions. She brought them back up to me and I checked again and saw that one of the burgers didn't have any cheese!!! How in the world can you forget to put cheese on a CHEESEBURGER!?!?! So she once again brought them back up to me and I reached out to take another look at them but she hurried up and put them in the bag, so I just glanced at them while not fully opening up the wrapper. Well long and behold after I got home I seen that the cheeseburgers didn't have any onions and I know I saw onions on them the first time I checked them so they must have removed the onions either out of inaffable ignorance or sheer simplemindedness but I find it hard to imagine they got confused about my cheeseburgers because not having any onions was my chief complaint. My kids also did not get their fair share of extra fries because there was just a tiny bit of fries in each box. I really despise this McDonald's....
Read moreThe McDonald's on Saltsburg Rd. In Penn Hills, PA. I was extremely surprised at the service it has gone down hill lately. I went to the drive thru with my daughter it was unreal the length of time they were taking to fill the orders the cars were backed all the way to the street people were to upset they were driving off without their orders. They completely messed up our order I got a ranch chicken wrap it the chicken was cold and it was maybe 2 inch piece of chicken, the french fries were cold and with out a doubt had been refried. My daughter ordered a frozen coffee they gave her some other type of frozen coffee with chocolate and whipped cream. And when I brought it to their attention they had an attitude about correcting the order, on top of everything else I look at the young lady's uniform and she was a manager or asst manager. I normally would have advised her on proper customer service. But I was just too tired to...
