Mohan's Restaurant — Restaurant in Penn Hills

Never in life will I go in this place again . I ordered on Mohans website for a pick up order . They use a third party company apparently for ordering on line but it’s through their own website. I get there to pick up my order and the they say it’s cancelled. I waited for over an hour for the order to be done and the owner Daniel, who has zero accountability, horrible customer service, and ownership of the platform in which he owns tell me sorry that’s not our fault it’s door dashes fault why I couldn’t get my food. Instead of this Daniel saying “hey man I don’t know what happened with your order but let me take care of you and make your food and get you out of here” that’s what anyone with proof of purchase at any good establishment would do . Instead he continues to try to deflect ,deflect ,deflect and offers to help me 0 percent with something that his business uses on their own website !!!! If you promote something on your own website and it’s a tool that you have on there and something goes wrong you own that ! This could’ve been easily resolved but instead you decided to do the opposite and I will make sure everyone knows it . You lost my business . I never would have gotten upset if I felt you were trying to...

Really unfortunate that I have to write a less than stellar review for Mohan’s. We were really excited to give this local spot a try, given its reputation. We got there and there were a lot of open tables, so we assumed it would be a painless smooth service. We both ordered drinks, Cesar salads for lunch, and each got a side of either wings or fries. The salads arrived 15 minutes later, before our drinks arrived, and we were very confused. The salad “lettuce” was very thin, similar to shredded lettuce you may find on a taco, and the salad itself was very small (see image). It took us another 10 minutes to flag down our server to ask her if this was the full size, and she said that she assumed we only wanted the side portion. We waited another 25-30 minutes, and finally all our food arrived, but the lettuce was the same thin shredded consistency. At this point it was just good to be getting any service, so we ate what we could and left. Very disappointed, especially considering there were many open tables while we were present. Will not be returning and will not be recommending...

Would not recommend this restaurant based on my recent experience. I placed a pick up order on their website. After an update that my order was received there were no further updates (which I get system issues happen). I went to the restaurant to try to resolve this. Once I arrived, about an hour after I placed the order, I received a text that my order was cancelled. I spoke to Daniel who was very dismissive and would not take any ownership for this issue. He advised they use door dash and he can’t do anything about it while calling me dude (very professional). Regardless of using a third party for pick up and take out, orders are placed on YOUR website, and you have to take some accountability when there are issues. I asked if he could just resolve this by putting in my order and he said he couldn’t do that. This could have been such an easy fix but dismissing and placing blame on another company without any resolution is not customer service.
