La Hacienda Restaurant — Restaurant in Pennsauken Township

We walked in at 5:25 pm and the place was empty. The place was clean and music was nice. The cashier greeted us promptly and helped us with questions about menu items. We placed our order by 5:30 pm and was told that it would be 15 to 20 minutes. That seemed reasonable, so we decided to wait. 5 groups of people came to pick up food and left during this time. At 6:10 pm I asked the waitress how much longer for our food and she said another 8 to 10 minutes. 20 minutes goes by and they finally gave us our food and drinks. I mentioned to the cashier that we should have been told that it would take over and hour to get our food and she was very apologetic. We drove the five minutes it takes to get home and the food was barely room temperature. I had to put my food in the oven to warm up. This place is the worse I have been going here for years but lately it’s just not the same. I the last three times I went I asked for extra condiments and was charged for it but they didn’t put it n this time I waited 55min for three tostadas and told them to add extra cheese n cream paid for it and told the lady that the last few times they would charge me for it but would t put it. So she says ok I’ll make sure they do it this time. She gave me the bag and I asked her did they add the extra I asked for and she says yea but I forgot to charge you for it so gave her back my card n she charged me the extra, I get home and same results🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ the food is great that’s why I keep going back but they deff have to step up their management!! I just ordered chicken nachos from here. After 10 minutes of finishing a little bit because it tasted like cigarettes and I’m not exaggerating that’s exactly what it tasted like I started throwing up so I guess they gave me food poisoning. I called back and told them what happened. The girl thought I was ordering food and when I told her I don’t speak Spanish in Spanish and asked her to put somebody who speaks a little better fluently in English she still asked if I wanted 1 nacho or 2 nachos so I hung up…..I also ordered a horchata that they forgot to give me and wouldn’t take my card for the “$10 minimum”.
