Today I wasn't impressed. Didn't deliver on product as advertised as corporate didn't plan properly for the demand. Very disappointed 😞! Then a rude 1st window cashier when I explained my displeasure and why. Then when he handed me my receipt and card, said nothing, ignored me and went on to the next drive up customer. He was unable to even extend the McDonald's talk track of thanking you for coming to McDonald's and this location and spending MY MONEY. So of course I had to relay my thoughts to the manager at window two. She was wonderful, common sense and respected what I had to say. I understood her challenging position as corporate is missing the mark on delivering other items they are advertising also. I related that this was the point of relaying my concerns so the owner and manager could provide direct feedback to corporate. It is time to stop being lemmings to corporate America and speak up about these things or they will continue to take advantage of customers. We have the power, the power of the dollar and if we stop going and cook at home, just watch profits and stock values drop. I'm not an angry person, but i am a human being who should be treated with respect at all times from the people serving me, to the products they advertise, to be delivered as promised, no excuses. McDonald's would never accept my excuse of no money but I want the product. They would laugh me out of the store. So there is my experience at this location today. Now, my daughter did enjoy the portion of the product they were able to deliver, but I really don't enjoy disappointing my daughter after she told me she actually had a dream about the product, showed me pictures of it, talked a morning about it but then left disappointed as it was incomplete from what she had expected and promised in the...
Read moreMy most recent experience wa spretty typical of going through a mcdonalds drive thru. Pull up during a semi-busy hour, wait my turn to place an order (normally I make a mobile order, but this was just a shake for a friend), then pull ahead. I enjoy that the menu is backlit and larger than it used to be. Then again, age may be at play there. Nonetheless I enjoy the larger backlit menu. Today was the first time I noticed my order on the screen. I am so happy places started doing this. Makes for a much smoother transaction. This time, as I was looking at the menu, I thought I heard the speaker but thought it was the one for the other car at the next speaker. Turns out, they had to do something additional for my order. Its fast food at a drive thru. They were busy. No hold up, no "im sorry we dont have that" at the window. Girl told me when I got to the window what she was trying to say on the speaker. To me that makes a typical experience a little better. They could have said they were out but thry made thr order and I left happy. It might seem like something little, but those little things that make little smiles add up and make the world a little bit...
