The single handedly worst experience I have had at Wendy's. I was passing through - on my travels from Northern Virginia to Halifax, PA. 1st - my 2 year old had to use the restroom. The doors were locked, with no sign stating the dining room was closed. We watched as family after family went to go in, walking in the ridiculus 100+ heat index to have to turn around. From the time I started my car, to the time we got through the drive through was 32 minutes. When I politely asked the person at the window what the hold up was, she said there were only 3 people in the store and that everyone keeps placing "big orders". That right there and was enough and understandable - but she went on to further explain that another manager was working the staff to death, and that she had clocked over 80 hours that week and that they really just are very tired. (Unprofessional comment right there and unnecessary to tell you customers...TMI lady!) So, today I decided to call up and speak to a manager to let them know their staff was complaining to their patrons about their hours - well it just so happens the person who picked up the phone was the same lady complaining to me about it and she is a manager! And would not give me her name.,...I said my name is Kristy, can I please have your name? She said you need to tell me what happened first. I said I need to tell you what happened first before you give me your name? Ha! I'm calling corporate hun. You need to learn...
Read moreWas here before and was always good, however was here today bc I was super hungry and was disappointed hugely. There was no indication anything was amiss, I have a big work truck so I have to go in. Parked where my truck will fit a parking lot away and walked over. Clocked off on my lunch bc time is everything at my job. The doors turned out to be locked on both sides of the building and I am already on my lunch which can't be changed, and they aren't open for ordering inside. I refuse to download an app and didn't really have time to do the online ordering thing and didn't really want to bc whyyyyy is the inside not open at lunch on a Friday afternoon? Tried walking through the drive through but they didn't say anything, probably I couldn't trip the sensor bc duh, my vehicle doesn't fit in their drive thru so they wasted my lunch and I'm hungry af. So that was my experience today, at the very least if you refuse to allow your paying customers in your establishment be open about it and put up a sign, it's deceptive to have people thinking you are operating like any other Wendy's whom you are obviously running a drive thru only business in unpredictable fashion. The hours are still up and says they are supposed to be open. Thanks a lot...
Read moreWent through the drive through. Got two chicken sandwich meals. Both sandwiches were good and hot but the fries were lukewarm at best. I pulled back through and asked for new ones and gave the boxes back. They asked us to pull forward and they would bring them out. It’s been 10 minutes since they told us to pull forward. 5+ cars have gone through the drive thru behind us and still nothing. I don’t know if they forgot about us or are upset we asked for fresh fries or what. I worked at a Wendy’s and was a manager for 2 and a half years and I know the fries don’t take this long to cook and also know how easy it is to take them out and put them in a bag and deliver it to the customer.
After waiting another 7 minutes after drafting this I finally reversed back to the drive thru window. They openly said we indeed were forgotten about. They gave us our fries which were slightly warmer than the first ones we got and we then left. I had to drive 2 and a half hours home and didn’t have time to wait another 15 minutes.
