Review of Pickle Nickel burger restaurant in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, because where else would it be? Very juicy burgers, love the fresh cut fries. Need to go back for a milkshake. #c#centralpad#dillsburgpap#picklenickelb#burgern#notsponsored

Food was acceptable and service was fine. This was a very small establishment in an older converted house. The food was freshly prepared and had good flavor. The service was a little rushed as there was only one person waiting on the dozen or so tables. The milkshake was excellent. Nice and creamy and well blended so the flavors were even throughout. The Taco Salad was a generous portion with fresh crisp vegies with a sprinkling of a very few tortilla chips like croutons. The meat was a sliced burger patty that didn't taste like it had any taco seasoning to it, just plain. There was a generous amount of taco sauce, salsa, and sour cream, but the salad did not have any of the typical taco salad components like rice, beans, guac, etc. Josh's Taco Fries were nice and hot thick cut, skin on, fries. It was a generous portion of fries but only had a pretty meager dollop of chili (no taco seasoning), sprinkling of lettuce, and smidge of cheese sauce. After getting through the first layer, which ate up all the toppings, I had to use ketchup on the rest. We heard a lot of people commenting positively about the smash burger options, which did look appealing on the menu, so maybe that would be a better try. -- Irritation factor: this old house needs the floors supported. Just the waiter walking around had our seats and table rocking like the high seas.

If I could give this place more stars I would. The food is simple and tasty. Lots of creative sandwiches and burgers, but also few veggie and seafood options. Fried Pickles are a must, so is Nikki's Laua Burger. Now the bonuses comes in a form of the friendly service and if you have kids, their special is a must. Tokens, what tokens? Was our reaction. And low and behold there is a small arcade tucked away in back. Not only you child will be entertained, but also will leave with a small prise. Win win win. Last but not least. The owner, Kelly, thoughtfully offered us additional coffee refill to-go. The Pickle Nickel is likely will be our "apres ski" destination when skiing in Roundtop.

If you go, use the third door on the left.

If you go be prepared to wait 20 minutes for someone to take your order. 35+ minutes to get a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich, a burger and fries. So ya, an hour. Even if YOU'RE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT!!!

Look, y'all. We're not talking this will be the best burger or the most incredible fries or anything even fancy about a grilled cheese sandwich on store bought bread with American cheese. It's not fresh baked bread. It's not brioche. It's not aged sharp cheddar. It's not wagu beef. Literally it's your most basic food of yore. Burger was good, but not worth the wait.

It was the wait that killed us. 20 minutes to have anyone show up at our table. We were the only people there-- I had even pushed an important phone call off twice while waiting for anyone to take our order. The third time I had to take the call--and that's when the waitress showed up. My husband ordered for me. Yes, I hate when people are on the phone and you're trying to conduct business. I apologized. We had been waiting 20 minutes so...

From then we sat waiting, and waiting, and waiting. One guy came in and picked up his To-go burger. We continue waiting and waiting and waiting. 35+ minutes and finally got our burger, fries, grilled cheese.

Y'all just go to Wendy's. TBH it's about the about the same quality and you'll get your food a...

My wife and I arrived at about 3:20 pm on Saturday. There where's no one into place? Accept the girl behind the counter. She gave us 2 menus and we sat down and she came over and asked us if we wanted something to drink. We said yes, I'm ordered 2 sodas. She came back about 5 minutes later. What are drinks? Then we ordered our food. I ordered a burger with a side of. Onion rings and she ordered Hey Benji burger rap. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food. The burger came open face, which is fine with me? I noticed that the top bun had been grilled and I. Picked it up to put it on the burger. And it felt like it just came out of the. Refrigerator it was absolutely cold. I grabbed an onion ring which were also cold and at this point very hard, and that's because they were cold. My wife and I each ate one onion ring out of the order. She ate half of her rap. And I ate the burger and we got up and went to pay. I told the lady of my complaints. And all she did what's a " Aw, Im sorry about that" and charged us full price and for those 3 items. It cost $36.00 I will never again come back to this place. The food was mediocre at best. It certainly wasn't worth $36.00 I would encourage you if you are reading this. Just simply get up and go somewhere else.... Anywhere else. What are they going to do if they...
