Like many 'small town' post offices, I find you get what you give. I regularly drop off prepaid shipments here, and find the staff helpful and friendly. I normally say something like "This is ready to go, I don't need a receipt" when dropping it, and the staff seems palpably grateful. More importantly, my stuff is -always- scanned in and tracked promptly even though I 'leave it on the counter' versus waiting in line to get it scanned. While dropping off, I often hear unreasonable customers abusing the staff, and feel bad for that. A smile and a 'thank you' goes a long way, folks.
