( Gregory St location) Food was greasy and basically inedible for 3 out of 4 of us. Needless to say we are all having stomach issues after eating the little bit we did. Had to remind the waitress twice about my cocktail, once before the meal came and once after! Finally the manager came over and brought it to me and told me we were not being charged for it because it shouldn’t have taken that long for it to come. It came after our meal and when he came back to check on us to see if everything was OK with our food and reassure us that we would not be charged for my margarita I told him thank you and I really didn’t care for it anyway, and was about to order something else and let him know about the food but he quickly walked away. I have severe allergy to milk and eggs, and we had asked the server that sat us down if there was any milk in the Mexican rice, and she said that she doesn’t know if it’s Imitation butter or not, then we had asked the server to ask the kitchen because I thought that the kitchen would know, so then I see that he goes and ask the first person that we asked, I didn’t know that she was the manager, and she walked back over to us and was extremely snarky and said with an attitude “do you not understand what I said earlier” then she tells us that she’s the manager, after that we just left, I’m not gonna eat at a place and get treated poorly...

This is the BEST Cactus location in town! Matt & his team are always super friendly & provide awesome service. Cactus had fallen out of favor with us when they were still on Palafox, but this location & staff totally made us loyal customers again. The menu consists of elevated Mexican dishes that never miss. Highly recommend the steak California Burrito & Gringo Tacos. Always start with the 3 Amigos dip! I really appreciate that they value their take out customers as well & don’t ever forget an item. Nor do they skimp on the chips & salsa....
