Addendum: 11/12/23, this place has changed a lot. I took my friend from another state and we were all but ignored. Got very little meat. I figured it was a one off.
*I made a reservation with my grandson for the first time, and they tried to sit me somewhere uncomfortable. It was nearly 45 minutes before they sat us. Incredibly frustrating because he was so hungry. Once we were sat, Haley took good care of us.
*My grandson and I went back in late October. Sat with Haley again, and it was all good. He wanted to come back for his birthday in November.
I called and asked if they do something special for birthdays. The guy said a meal if a member. I told him he is only turning 12, he ia not old enough to be a member. He said he would get a desert and a song.
So, I made a reservation a week ahead of time, writing it was Leo's 12th birthday.
We arrived and I whispered a reminder it was Leo's birthday, and I wanted them to sing to him. She said she would let them know, with a sweet smile. This was starting good.
We get to the Table, and the waitress said to Leo, learning it was his birthday "you want us to sing to you?" Of course, embarrassed, he said no. I had to take a deep breath because that was NOT OK! I told Leo I was going to the salad bar but I went up to the hostess station and asked her to please make sure Leo got his song. She apologized (lovely girl) and said they would.
Leo clocked me on this. He said he knew what I did. He actually did want to be sung to, but was embarrassed to say. I knew that. The waitress should have known better.
The big tables around us were being tended to often. I'm not saying we didn't get any food. But Leo only wanted meat. He didn't get anything except bread from the bar. There were times, when he was sitting back in his chair, bored, waiting for someone to bring him food.
He likes the pineapple, chicken and the sausage mostly. We got one sausage turn, two chicken and two pinapple. This cost me 80 bucks!
There was a moment when 3 gauchos were at one table, and Leo was waiting for meat to come our way.
We had to ask them several times for chicken. One guy told us each meat only comes around once every 12 rounds. Well, that wasn't true at all. We were approached with tritip and then the next meat was tritip, the meat after that was parmesean meat and then, tritip again.
Finally, Leo was getting tired. So when the ill mannered waitress approached us, and asked if we wanted desert or the bill, I was shocked. He hadn't been sung to yet, and she is asking me if we want the bill!!! I looked at her and smiled and said well, it's his birthday so, whatever the desert is for his birthday. She told us that he didnt get desert unless we buy it separately from the meal. I was done, and said I wanted to just pay for the meal. She took my card and walked away. It seemd like forever, so we walked up to the hostess, and she asked if Leo was sung to and I said no and we just wanted to pay and go but the waitress had my card. I told her what happened and she apologized to me. She gingerly (and nicely) said that someone had misinformed me because you do not give a birthday desert.
**Side note: that's terrible considering the amount of money you guys charge and how many people choose to celebrate their birthday with your restaurant. That is the least you can do
As we sat there waiting for our check, I saw the waitress and your gaucho crew head over to the table that had the 3 gauchos serving them at a time, singing your birthday song. Leo leaned into me, and I held him close and apologized.
So, I am done. The experience here is now just torture. My dates with my grandson, and my friends will be elsewhere.

I went there on a Tuesday and it was not busy. But I can never say enough good stuff. There are always positive vibes, food is always delicious, the warriors bringing the food enjoy having a bit of...
Read moreI had the worst experience ever at this restaurant this past Saturday. It was July 19, 2025. My date and I have eaten at this restaurant a few times and we absolutely love the cooked pineapples. We had to ask several servants where the pineapple was and was told repeatedly they would send someone over. It took about an hour for the man with the pineapple to come over and he totally ignored us and he walked right in front of our table and went to the table next to us. We know he heard us and everyone in the room heard us asking him to stop and give us some of the pineapple. This began a domino effect. Our waitress was horrible. We asked her for a glass of ice water for my dateat least four times and after waiting patiently for 45 minutes, she brought us a glass of ice water with no ice and used her finger to push it toward us on the table as if we were contagious. She advised us there was no ice in the entire restaurant on a Saturday night. I did ask the hostess for a manager. The manager came over and stated there was ice in the building. He went to retrieve an ice water for my date and apologized. He returned with the ice water and informed us that the waitress was upset after I advised her that her services were no longer needed at our table. We requested a new waitress. He began to tell us a story about the waitress, not knowing that the ice was replaced and they had ice after all. I also asked him to get the servant who had the pineapple because we deserved an apology for embarrassing and ignoring us in front of everyone. After he brought the pineapple guy over, the servant did apologize, but begin to tell untruths about not hearing us when we spoke to him. He was very nonchalant and looked irritated that the manager asked him to come to our table to apologize. The servant stated he was focused and did not hear us. The manager then put his hand on the servant’s shoulder and thanked him for staying focused right in front of us (oxymoron). We have eaten here a few times and never had this experience. I don’t think I will eat there again. We were livid at the disrespect by all 3 employees: the waitress, pineapple guy and the manager as well. We could not get out of there fast enough but the manager was holding our check hostage for an additional 33 minutes after he decided to remove half of the balance due. We definitely felt racially discriminated against and it bothered me most of the night...
Read moreThis is a warning to anyone who chooses to dine in this establishment. If you were planning on eating here with someone who is physically handicapped as far as walking, whether it be temporary or permanent or with someone who could not handle a hard fall, such as an elderly person. Do not eat here unless that person is in a wheelchair. I had made reservations for my own birthday a week in advance, telling the staff I would be on crutches. (I was five days out from Achilles surgery ). Firstly, they put us at the farthest table from the door. It literally was against the back wall of the restaurant Although annoying, I was willing to overlook Having to navigate myself on crutches, through all the other tables to reach my destination The real problem begins when there was a wet floor that did not have the usual warning signage that I thought was mandatory to be put up. When my crutches hit this floor, they both went out from under me and I was forced to put a non-weight-bearing foot on the floor to keep myself from falling all the way down. Luckily for me, my sister and brother-in-law, both grabbed me keeping me from putting much weight on that foot. I had to forgo my crutches because they kept slipping on the wet floor and hop between the two of them using them as support to make it to my table None of , the staff inquired as to me being OK or checked on the situation that had just happened When I requested a manager. The only thing he said was “oh sorry I can comp your meal”. I was dining on a birthday certificate, and my meal was $1. Beyond that he seemed not to care. Upon my insistence, that something should be done in the future for others in the situation I was in. He nonchalantly said he would see what he could do. I was then told the general manager was on vacation for the weekend. This manager reluctantly took my name, phone number and email address saying the general manager would contact me as soon as possible. It has been a week and no one has contacted me yet. This is only solidifies that the management of this establishment has no concern for their customers or their safety. As far as myself based on the follow up with my doctor, they said everything should be OK based on my description However, we will not fully know until the cast is removed in...
