Emerald Republic Brewing — Restaurant in Pensacola

XXX READ BEFORE YOU ATTEND!

I'm a local here in Pensacola. I've even done a shoot for this brewery. Yesterday during an event here. I brought a friend in from DC and took her here. Along with a few others. My girlfriend and I love Pensacola and brewerys. We live in the heart of easthill here. As we walk up to the counter with very little traffic and maybe 2 people actually sitting at the bar. We kindly asked to try both sour bears before ordering which one we wanted. Mind you it's normal to do. That's what one thing that makes brewerys so fun. They tell us NO very rudely like we were a burden and said there was a line and started shaking their heads over and oner well the line they speak of was just our small group I brought in. I couldn't believe it. So I declined on getting anything at this point. I felt embarrassed and angry. Then let my friend behind me order, this was the line they spoke of. She asked for one of the flights andthe same two ladies behind the bar said no we are not doing any flights today. It's a brewery!?!?! We sat with no drinks the others ended up just leaving there beers almost full and we went somewhere else. So if you want to taste a beer before you order one or get a flight of diffrent beers to try. DONT GO HERE. we have plenty of great brewerys...

NYE; they charged $80 or $100, had 4 bartenders, 2 bathrooms, food so gross the grease ran down your hand as you tried to eat whatever they put in the bin… by the way, nothing was identified… also, there was NOTHING for anyone with a food allergy… there was no “VIP” section for those of us that actually paid to be there and support the brewery. Their “event” was a joke and I’m incredibly disappointed by the brewery’s attempt to cash in on the night. The bartenders were absolutely overwhelmed. The bartenders were above and beyond AMAZING and did everything in their power to keep everyone satisfied. I am so incredibly disappointed that I will never, ever go there again. I apologize to the wait staff that did everything in their power to provide, keep up, and do everything they could, to offer a fantastic ring in to 2023. To everyone working there tonight; I sincerely hope you leave this brewery in your rear view and move on to a company that actually respects and cherishes...

First time here after hearing great things. Overall loved the atmosphere and music. The outside beer garden is beautiful, especially at night. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the bartender. With a small local place, I was expecting a warmer welcome yet it was a bit cold and blunt. There was zero conversation and no recommendations either. It was a very quick "What can I get you, open or closed" then on our way. I noticed too with how she poured our beers, that she overflowed the glass quite a few times. Enough that when we got them they were dripping and covered in beer. It just didn't seem like a very efficient pour. I didn't catch her name but it was during the bingo last night. (Which I want to add that I love the different events held here even I can't...
