Anna at Sonny's BBQ
Anna is the best waitress at Sonny's BBQ! She is always friendly, attentive, and efficient. She makes sure that her customers have everything they need, and she goes above and beyond to make sure that they have a great dining experience. She even let me have my cookies 🍪 first.
I recently had the pleasure of having Anna as my waitress at Sonny's BBQ. She was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we sat down. She took my drink order right away, and she brought it over to me quickly. She then went over the menu with me and answered any questions that we had.
I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with a side of fries. My wife had the Sonny’s Platter. Anna made sure that our food was cooked perfectly, and she brought it over to me hot and fresh. She also checked on us several times throughout my meal to make sure that we were enjoying it.
When I was finished with my meal, Anna brought the bill and asked if we would like anything else. We declined, but thanked her for her excellent service. I left her a generous tip, and I will definitely be back to Sonny's BBQ soon to ask for Anna again!

Read moreMy recent experience at Sonny's left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Unfortunately, I didn't receive everything I paid for, and the overall quality of the food and service was subpar.
To begin with, the crinkle fries I ordered were handed to me in a napkin, which was not only unappetizing but also unhygienic. Furthermore, the pork egg rolls I had hoped to enjoy tasted old and were barely warm, let alone hot. It was evident that they had been sitting around for a while, and the lack of freshness was undeniable.
What added to my dissatisfaction was the complete lack of responsiveness from the restaurant when I attempted to address my concerns. After realizing how poorly my food was handled, I tried to contact the store to express my disappointment, no one conveniently answered the phone. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on their customer service standards.
Moreover, I couldn't help but notice some concerning practices during my visit. When I arrived at the restaurant around 9:15 PM, it seemed like the entire place was already in the process of closing. The kitchen was being cleaned, and it appeared as though the staff were in a rush to finish up for the night. This raised suspicions about the freshness of the food being served and the overall cleanliness of the establishment.
In hindsight, I deeply regret leaving a tip, as the quality of both the food and service did not warrant it. I wish the restaurant were open so that I could return and request a refund for the disappointing experience I had.
Overall, based on my experience, I would strongly advise against ordering take-out from this establishment, especially close to closing time. The lack of attention to detail, poor food quality, and disregard for customer concerns make it clear that there are better dining options...
Read moreDined in last evening with the family, we ordered the family feast. A new tater tot appetizer. So to start server didn't have order book to take our order that he ask us if we were ready. We order comes with ribs, beef brisket, chicken, and pork with 3 sides and garlic bread or cornbread, and finally 4 sweet teas. 3 of us there and 1 at home, after he took the order we sat there waiting for him to bring back the sweet teas never got them. When the food came out , minus the tater tot app we never got , look pretty good so we ask about the app which is new and looks delicious he says I came get that for you leaves beings back two little orders of plain tater tots, mind you they are suppose to have queso, bbq sauce, onion rings straws and bacon I believe for none of that. Then we start making out plates and realize that we are missing our fries for 4 and we got garlic bread we wanted cornbread, so again we ask him about them and he says he can get them, we keep the bread. We are eating and someone eats the pulled pork and we're very unhappy with the taste, said it tasted funny, the ribs still had that will skin on it , doesn't taste good , but other than that everything is ok, finally get our fries and app which looked nothing like it was pictured didn't even try it. Oh forgot to say we didn't even get silverware till 5 mins after we got our food. I know because I am one, servers have off days and we all make mistakes on orders, but this was bad from the word go. Talk with the manager and he was super nice and made things right with us. felt bad for the guy that was our server, it only takes one table to be messed up too ruin your whole mojo and you are messed up for the whole shift. I hope he has had better shifts since,he might need more training though. He kept smiling and kept trying so A for effort just needs a little...
