Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in Florida

I came in to have an after work dinner and it started off nice, then I went to the salad bar. Started with some spinach then got some lettuce headed on to the cucumber and second swipe brought back a dead fly, well I thought was a dead fly. Seen manager Marco, head him the plate and fly becomes alive and starts fluttering…ALL HE SAYS TO ME IS DO YOU WANT ANOTHER PLATE. He never came back to the table to say hey I can’t controls however I’m so sorry for that experience just went on abt his business. My dinner came out, I got the Asiago chicken and bacon, broccoli and vegetables were steaming hot chicken bacon and Asiago cheese cold like cold cold, again Marco assisted and fumbled, never once came back apologized nothing and now this is my second issue. Now my waitress Ms Carolyn was nice in the beginning until I mentioned the fly a second time because now I’m alittle bewildered that no one has said anything abt this experience right so she then says to me well it happens door opens flies come in we can’t control it, wow but I get it absolutely can’t, however you can acknowledge and apologize. I will say though Ms Georgia is the hostess with the mostess. She listened to me, apologized, empathized and even gave me her lunch bag to take my boxes home in because they ran out and truck doesn’t come till tomorrow. I paid $34 dollars at this restaurant and experienced a dead then back to life fly, cold food, less than superior shift manager and Ms Carolyn bless her heart clock strikes 10am and one foots already out the door. Georgia, though you keep rockin, and I hope that foot bath...

So excited to know that this ruby tuesday is closers to me. It's adjacent to the walmart on Navy Blvd. Called in my order and it was ready by the time I got there. This place is really spacious and super clean inside from what I could see. All the employees were really polite. The food was good. I got my usual - ribs, mac and cheese and broccoli. I hope the service remains the same after the newness wears off.

Went here one my birthday and the food was delicious. I got a new menu item - 2 chicken breast with chicken and covered with cheese - shaved cheese. The chicken was extremely moist, sliced like butter. Very tasty. I got broccoli and sweet potato fries as my 2 sides. Everything was perfect. All items were hot and fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The fries were sweet and cooked to perfection. For dessert i got the apple pie like dessert. It was perfect size for one but capable of being shared. It looked just like the picture. Nice crunchy side, ice cream and covered in caramel sauce. My family enjoyed ourself. The inside of the restaurant is really clean. A lot of seating. A bar. A lot of t.v.s on different channels. A cool fish mosaic on the ceiling. Our server was really attentive. They have military discount too. My only complaint is that Ruby Tuesday no longer serves those little bread rolls you use to get...

I went in to place a to-go order. I stood there for 10 minutes at the front register before anyone noticed me. Then I was told, "You HAVE to go sit at the bar!" with an eyeroll like I was stupid. I took my menu & sat at the bar. After at least 6 more minutes (multiple songs played) the bartender came & told me I had to go to the other end. Again with the eyerolled "had to" & like I was annoying her. Yeah, there was a sign - in a darkened corner. I'd never been in this one & haven't been in a Ruby's in over a year. People ASSume you know their setup... The guy taking the order was nice. Turns out he works mostly in the kitchen.

Well, our food came & I went home. My steak was supposed to be rare. It was med. My potato (notice it's singular - there was supposed to be 2) was OLD see pic! My dad did not get his slaw or a potato (the guy wasn't sure they had slaw left, so I told him a potato in case, but maybe he dodged a bullet) & his fish was horrible! The potato skins were old & only had cheese, no bacon. & they should not have been boxed with the fish! The whole meal was in 2 boxes... The whole meal was ruined. I could have maybe overlooked the multiples of rudeness if the food had at least been good. I'm heading back to CT. Had been looking forward to a good meal with my dad after he'd spent almost 2 months in the hospital & saw so many commercials making him want...
