Frank's — Restaurant in Peoria Heights

Perfect. There isn't a single thing I would change about any of the food I got. I got the Italian beef with cheese and peppers and a Chicago dog.

The Italian beef was seasoned perfectly and was super juicy. My favorite part is that the meat was juicy, but the bread didn't become soggy in the slightest. They put down the cheese first to avoid this. The pulled beef vs the traditional sliced beef is infinitely better and gave a similar experience to eating a Philly cheese. This is the only Italian beef I will eat.

The Chicago dog was great too. Traditional Chicago dog toppings and bun. But when it comes the to dog itself, incredible. The crispiest snap I've ever heard come from a hotdog in my life. I also recommend the coney dog with onions if a Chicago dog isn't your style. Can't even go wrong with a plain dog with mustard.

50/10 experience. Great food and a spectacular price point as well. I ate it so fast I forgot to take pictures, but I will be back and letting everyone know...

The italian beef was decent, albeit more dry and less flavor than I'd like, in my opinion. Couple issues I had: Beef is shredded. In my opinion, an Italian beef is better when the beef is sliced, not shredded. Asked for giardiniera on the beef, was told that they only do banana peppers on it. Looked around the store and saw some giardiniera in jars, so I don't know why they couldn't add it to the sandwich. I think they have added giardiniera as an option so I'll up my score to 3 stars. No option for dipped or dunked sandwiches. Would love more of the jus from the beef in some form. Patio, at least when we went, was uncovered. So we were baking in the sun while eating. Lady at the register wasn't very polite. Frank himself was very polite and welcoming. Might have been an off day; your experience might be different. I currently prefer Portillo's beef or Al's in Chicago.

Had Frank’s for the first time I believe and it is worth the hype! The staff were very friendly and helpful when trying to decide the best option for a family of four, thanks Noah! We chose to do a family kit and that was the right way to go. Everything was packaged and ready for making sandwiches at home. The beef was delicious and very juicy. We also got coney dogs-delicious.
