Biryani Bowl — Restaurant in Peoria

I Ordered malai kofta and chicken noodles from DoorDash. One of the worst orders in my life. The noodles were uncooked, smelly and disgusting. They gave 3 koftas in my mail so kofta and the gravy was bland and consistency was like water. I think the chef forgot how to cook basic gravy. Last time I ate noodles it was amazing but this one was just brutal

As an other trial I ordered sczewan veg noodles and paneer Manchuria. To my surprise the noodles was exceptionally good, the noodles was so better than my 1st experience. The 2nd was yuck and todays was ultimate. Thank you chef for the tasty food. Hope u guys keep the consistency

Ok another update!!! 07/14/2023 I hate this place somehow!! Today I ordered veg noodles, Gongura paneer biryani and cut mirchi

And this is the observation:

Cut mirchi: it is stale and super dry, can guess it is easily 2-3 days old and just deep fried before packing, it was completely dry and hard, and u can see the mirchi is black in color.

Veg noodles: the smell reeks, but taste was OK? I dint know how, I think the standards need to be more than this, don’t use old stuff for your food. First time noodles was yuck, 2nd was really good now 3rd is mediocre. Will rate 4 stars if I get same taste and better quality without the rotting stink

Gongura paneer biryani: This was the only item good in this order, I think as it is the start of the weekend they made the biryani fresh, and try ate what many Indian restaurants do, and thanks team you haven’t made me go food less. Biryani is good.

I ordered full tray chicken 65 ,quarter tray paneer and full gray goat biriyani. They delivered half tray quantity of chicken within a full tray for full tray order. Also only half of the quarter tray were contains the paneer. The quantities of food within any tray is very less for the money . No response from the folks who collected money after informing it.

Within goat biriyani , it was so hard to find goat pieces . It’s not worth to give $200 per tray for just rice and less pieces of goat .

Update based on owner update :

Please look at the photos with date and time on it. I informed within minutes of picking up the order. It’s my bad that I didn’t look at from the place before/after the payment. But if you look at the pictures with date and time then it will prove the authenticity of this post and how badly they are treating customers. Owner says that I did t informed on time. But the pictures says for owner’s authenticity.

No response from owner for 22 hours. Then I followed up on 6/1/2024 ( owner response was very bad )

I just wanted to inform this for the benefit of the community who seeks services. Pictures will explain no matter what owner responds. EDIT: now I am giving them a 5 star (below is my older review and why I gave them 1 star). Either their management changed or something, they have a good customer service now. Food is as good as before. We usually do take out, have done some deliveries too, but haven’t dined in yet. Without a doubt I will say they are the best Indian food in northern Peoria (if anyone has another recommendation for Indian food, please share, I am happy to try another place).

I am giving 1 star for the customer service that we received. We ordered for a to-go. The guy who took our order wasn’t friendly at all, I wish he had told me that it’s going to take 1 hour for the food to be ready. He told me that after I placed my order. I arrived in exact 55 minutes, expecting the order to be ready by then. Then the guy told me to wait for 15 more minutes. After that he said 5 more minutes. Now the order was finally ready. We had to wait for 75 minutes and they weren’t even sorry at all. I haven’t had such experience ever. If possible, I would have given them 0-star (I won’t say negative star, because the food was still good). Looking at the previous reviews I am not the first to have experience this kind of customer service from them. I wish they improve the service...
