By the Bucket Peoria — Restaurant in Peoria

Service and atmosphere are great. But lets get to what is important and that is the food. The meatballs are real good and so is the cheesy bread. So I am assuming you are wondering why I gave such a low review for food? It's the sauce..... Or lack there of. When you open the bucket it looks like you are getting a good amount of sauce, but there is actually very little sauce for a whole bucket. There is not nearly enough sauce to even mildly give flavor to the noodles in the whole bucket. So really your just paying for a bucket of noodles and you can get a box of noodles at any grocery store for $1 to $2.

If this place could get the sauce to noodle ratio down this place would be a decent place to order from but if I'm paying $14 for a bucket of mildly flavored spaghetti noodles then it becomes a very easy thing to just say "i could make this better at home in ten minutes with just canned sauce and boxed noodles" and faster too because you don't need to drive to pick up and drive back home.

Food for thought. Great concept but...

Yesterday was the second time that I went to this restaurant, I can’t tell you how impressed I am with this place and the owner. Not just because the food is delicious which it is. The spaghetti is so good and the bread is just perfectly baked, but it’s because the restaurant is very clean and the owner who waited on me both times is very clean. Not only does he wash his hands each time before he gets your food ready but he also wears gloves. I’m a bit of a germ Freak and it’s just so nice to see people like that. I could not recommend this restaurant enough. And I got the medium bucket and a half a loaf of bread. It filled both of us up and we still have a little bit left...

Saw an ad for this new place that sold a bucket of spaghetti that opened on Bell and 91st Ave. My daughter was thrilled (what kid wouldn't be thrilled with a bucket of spaghetti) and couldn't wait to try it. We called in an order, and it was really good. Since all they have is spaghetti and garlic bread, it's simple, easy and a no brainer for a quick dinner when you have a lot of things going on. Place was clean and the people working there were so sweet. Will definitely be back. Thank you...
