Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers — Restaurant in Peoria

Honestly if I could rate a 0 I would. Went here for the first time today and was more then disappointed. First the host was clueless when it came to finding us a table for 2! Another hostess came over and told him where to out us as she tried to get everyone else that came in behind us sat. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, great location... Then we got our beers and flies started to fly around us.... Ok they had the roll up window at the bar open so flies would be expected right? I've been to plenty restaurants with this concept and never had the issue I had today. The table next to us was seated and the women mentioned the flies to one manager and she kind of shrugged it off... Our food came and now we were literally swarmed with 5+ flies. We were swatting them away like crazy and couldn't eat our food. I ordered a stuffed burger and burned myself twice with the moltened filling while swatting flies!!! I got up and went to the same manager that received the original complaint and told her I needed boxes I wasnt dealing with the flies. Our server brought our bill and it was a full bill.... I know that it's manager discretion to discount the bill but you have got to be kidding me! My boyfriend asked our server to have the manager come over. When a different manager came over he had an "ok" attitude meaning he was like well what do you expect?! He said well we are waiting for the people at the bar to leave and we will close it, I know it wont matter to you but thats what were are going to do. After explaining that we did not order this meal to go but thats what were doing because of the bugs and the fact that I burned myself because of them and tipping my burger while swatting bugs he decided he would look at the bill and offer a...

We stopped in here for a burger & fries while we watched the 4Nations NHL game. The atmosphere was alright, not too busy despite the game so we were seated pretty quickly. Looking at the menu the beer selection is pretty decent but the food menu was very overpriced just off first glance. We ordered 3 different burgers: The Hangover :W/ “house chips” (very blah), burger asked for medium, was undercooked a bit but not terribly. Little dry. (4/10)

The All American: W/Fries (most undercooked/soft). Asked for medium well cook on burger (was correct). Kitchen forgot the lettuce & pickles on burger. (5/10)

Swiss Mushroom Burger: Asked for a medium burger, the inside was COMPLETELY raw & inedible & the mushroom was DISGUSTING & super greasy (Sent back & I opted NOT to have anything remade). Upgraded fries to garlic Parmesan. The fries were extremely greasy, over powered with garlic & just had Parmesan sprinkled in the center top and looked microwaved cause it was stuck together. I left those fries on the table & I NEVER dont eat fries. (0/10)

The Fried Pickles appetizer we ordered was the only decent thing but they were still mediocre. Just fried well. (6/10)

Our waitress took very long to come to our table each time. Forgot when asked for refills and couldn’t be found visually on the floor often. There was a point where I ordered a beer, went to use the bathroom, then took a selfie, came back to the table and my beer still hadn’t come. I went to the bar & waited abt another 3 minutes not being acknowledged and went back to my table and still didn’t have the beer so I had it canceled when I did see her. Came in to meet 2 friends and was the early one out of the group. Waitress seemed too busy to be bothered flirting with someone who either works there and was off the clock or a friend. Told her I would just look for open seating at the bar. Was not successful in finding any seating so I sat down in one of MANY open tables close to the bar. Was ignored for a good 5 minutes before I walked up to the podium (which had no hostess, just that guy standing there) and grabbed 3 menus. My other friends arrived, sat down, and at this point, 3 different waitresses walked around and asked nearby tables how they were and if they needed anything just to purposefully make it a point that they were ignoring us. Said excuse me to the waitress and politely said “excuse me can someone take our drink order or maybe bring waters?” The waitress then proceeded to say in a sassy tone “well my hostess told me that you were supposedly going to find open bar seating and then you helped yourself to a table. This isn’t open seating so we are not obligated to serve you for seating yourself”. So at this point, they confirmed that they were ignoring us on purpose. We asked “so you couldn’t have came over and told us hey guys just an FYI, this isn’t open seating… do you guys mind maybe moving to another table so we can get you guys taken care of? Instead, you purposely ignored us just to prove a point” and she said “well no one told you to seat yourselves”… Bunch of ridiculous bunch of girls with no manners or any sense of customer service.
