When entering this Peter jungle with my family we were greeted by a waitress, and my brother asked for a booth for more comfort, there were five of us. The first thing out of her mouth is that it would be more convenient for me if you sat over here, she was pointing to the left. And also said that she was the only server for that section. We arrived granted just before closing about 35 minutes or so but that's gives her no right at all to treat a guest disrespectfully. It was the way she said it most of all. She used a very condescending voice, was a bit of annoyance attached. Like she was doing as a favor or something. When I come into a restaurant with my family I expect to be treated as a guest should be treated, and if a guest prefers a booth that's what you give the guest not what you want but what they want. I believe she was just too lazy to walk the extra feet to the booth area that she may have just cleaned. The restaurant was not closed yet so she has no reason at all to close a section except for the fact that she does not want to clean it again. These days restaurant should be happy to have guests at all considering the economy and how many other restaurants are going out of business. Overall as with most Peter jungles it is obnoxiously loud inside the restaurant due to the fact that they have poor acoustics because they have cement floors and high ceilings with no acoustics to absorb the sounds. The service was okay except for the fact that the waitress did not take the dirty plates, she was more interested in doing her side work in order to leave sooner than later most likely. As for the food, I had a chicken lavash wrap that had barely a half ounce of chicken cut into small dice pieces, the first three bites of the wrap was all lettuce and pesto. For the price that they charge the rap should have had at least 3 oz of chicken or more preferably 6 oz. Since I've been going to pita jungle on and off with my brother for about 8 years, I have watched the portion sizes decrease and the prices increase, year after year. Originally pita jungle was a good value for the money but not any longer, not to mention the restaurant chain has consistently never done anything to update the decor, or the problem with their acoustics.
Overall I was not impressed at all by this location, I would not spend my money at this location again.
If you're looking for a meal that will fill you, look someplace else pita jungle will just fill you with bread and lettuce, and empty your wallet leaving you...

Read moreWent at 3pm on Sun Feb 14. Second visit to this location. We’ve been to Desert Ridge also. Was about 5 other tables seated. Our family was seated near 3 other parties. The floor was covered in food and trash from previous diners that had a baby, as the high chair was just pushed aside from the table. Gross. There were numerous open tables we could have been sat at. Took 12 minutes before staff even approached our table and greeted us. We had to ask for a happy hour menu. When our drink order was finally in, 3 tables had left, another had come in. And there were several to go orders. Staff were sitting at the bar together, eating, and going back and forth from the kitchen getting more food items. Meanwhile, our apps of hummus finally arrived. I had to ask for silverware. There were no app plates to share the app. We had to wait for additional parts of our app order, and I don’t know what our waiter was doing. I had to ask for drink refills, as we were not checked on in a timely manner. Our food arrived, the adults entrees were cold. The presentation of of food was fantastic. (Although not a consistent temperature) The food tasted good. (Although cold) The drinks I had from the bar were good. The amount of staff to the number of patrons should have provided quicker service. I really want to make Pita Jungle a regular staple in our restaurant rotation, but with this being the 2nd time at this location during a historic non busy/non peak time to visit, I am very disappointed. It didn’t appear there was a manager on duty there, or else I would have spoke with them. Is this just part of the Pita Jungle culture? Edit Mar11, 2021: I was contacted by Kevin, and I spoke with him in detail about our visit. He sent me 2 entrees to give PJ another go at a later date. It’s been a month and we haven’t been back...yet. Will update...
