Sipping on sunshine; that’s what it felt like while visiting house of honey today anyway. For those of you that read my reviews you know I love cold brew and will travel near and far for a good one. This week word of mouth brought me to this cute, bright and oh so friendly new shop in Peoria. I knew instantly I’d love it by the welcome I received and beautiful colors inside. I had not eaten breakfast and knew right away I needed a chocolate croissant. It looked like literal heaven. If those aren’t your thing they also offer muffins, danishes and such. The bakery is a local shop in Avondale. I loved that these local shops support each other. Once I decided on my cold brew and ordered and spoke with the owner and other employee about their lattes and decided to also try a hot honey cinnamon latte which I was told is their top seller. I was pleased to see the shop pretty busy. Tea is a huge sell here and there quite a few people drinking tea out of cute tea pots and of course honey nearby to add to each cup. While I didn’t try any tea this go round I’ll definitely be back with friends for a fun little tea session. My drinks were ready pretty quick and even brought to my table which was so nice as I was enjoying my treat. My cold brew was fabulous and gone pretty quick ha ha. My latte however was so hot I had to wait for quite a while before being able to drink it without burning my tongue. Once it cooled it was so good and I can definitely see why it’s so popular. The shop is owned by a local bee keeper and the honey used in the shop is their very own. There are items for purchase like stickers, Candles , honey of course and more. Everything about this place was great. If you enjoy coffee and supporting local this should be...

I never write reviews but feel inclined to do so given my experience. I’ve heard amazing things about this place, the atmosphere, the service, food and drinks. I decided to try it and the first time I did the owner took my order. She was very short with me when I asked questions about the menu and her attitude made me feel like an inconvenience. The place was pretty busy and there were only two ladies working and I waited tables for years so I totally understood. The pastry and latte I got were amazing! Months later I decided to try it again because a friend recommended their matcha. This time there were 4 ladies working, the tables were full of people who already had drinks but there was no one in line and no orders to be made. The staff was cleaning up from previous orders and talking. This time my husband and I came in and were again greeted with attitude as if we were an inconvenience. I asked for the July special matcha and the lady rudely ā€œThere’s two on the menuā€. She didn’t smile the entire time and just looked miserable. I honestly don’t know how this place is so busy with customers if they treat them like this. They made my drink wrong, I ordered a matcha off the July menu and they didn’t put the cold foam on top. I didn’t bother asking them to remake it because I didn’t want to deal with the rudeness and attitude. My husband liked his coffee but unfortunately we...

If you’re looking for literally the best coffee in the Phoenix area, you need to go to House of Honey. I’m not lying when I say that every time I go, I’m never disappointed with my coffee, and it always makes my day.

Plus, I absolutely love the girls who work here—they’re all so sweet and friendly, and they always make me smile when I walk in. You can tell they’re super passionate about their business, their service, and their coffee, which makes the experience that much better.

The coffee itself is top-notch, and they have monthly menu changes with cool seasonal or themed drinks. They use high-quality coffee beans, and it’s these thoughtful little details that make it worth it every single time. Plus, the vibe is always welcoming and relaxed, and the aesthetic is always clean and well thought out.

One of my favorite things is checking out their Instagram to see what’s new on their monthly menu, or just popping in to see what they’ve come up with. The drinks often have a ā€œbeeā€ or ā€œhoneyā€ theme, and the shop is so cute with bees, honey, and hives. The best part is that it’s not just a theme—they actually source their honey from their family's local beekeeping business!!

All in all, it’s a spot that feels like home, and I’m always happy to support them. I highly recommend it if you want great coffee and a...

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø House of Honey — A Hidden Gem That’s Buzzing with Charm! šŸ House of Honey is hands down my new favorite coffee spot. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm, cozy atmosphere and the friendliest baristas you’ll ever meet. The bee-themed decor is adorable without being over the top — think golden tones, honeycomb accents, and sweet little details that make you feel right at home. Now let’s talk coffee — wow. It’s seriously the best I’ve ever had. The Iced Caramel Honey Latte with Honey Cold Foam is absolutely unreal. It’s smooth, perfectly sweet, and has this comforting, golden richness that I keep coming back for. The drinks are crafted with care, and you can tell they use quality ingredients — even the honey is local! Whether you’re just grabbing a cup to go or hanging out for a while, this place never disappoints. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go. You’ll be hooked after the first sip.

Local honey, decadent pastries, and honey-inspired coffee/tea creations meet an eco-friendly, environmentally conscious, and clean atmosphere in this small and breathtakingly gorgeous cafe. The atmosphere created in this unassuming space is my new happy place. From the carefully crafted drink recipes to the delicious foods, from the cozy tables to the healthy houseplants adorning every empty space. This cafƩ is a testament to the kind of commitment and care only found in local small businesses. You can buy local honey here or fill a reusable container with a "bulk honey" station from an apiary in Litchfield Park. Not sure which kind to get? Head to the sampling station to try out different kinds before you buy! There is no downside to this beautiful little cafƩ. Please support local businesses and bee owners by supporting House of Honey!
