Subway — Restaurant in Peoria

08/04/23 @ 3pm: I go to the Subway at 83rd Ave. & Thunderbird Rd. almost weekly. That place is clean, and everything is always pretty fresh. Their register was not working when I arrived, and it would be about 30 minutes to be able to order a sub. So, I left and went to this Subway (91st Ave. & Union Hills) instead. I should have just gone home.... This place was not clean (front glass door was full of hand-prints and greasy looking, the area where they make the subs was full of remnants from previous sandwiches, the glass sneeze-guard looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days), the veggie bins were almost empty and what was left in them looked awful (lettuce was mostly white and brown, cucumbers looked dried out, tomato slices were super-small and not ripe, etc.). I had a coupon, and I was hungry. Ordered the Subway Club (skipping the veggies that looked disgusting) and headed home. The meat (ham, turkey and roast beef) was extremely dry - even though I loaded it up with mayo & Parmesan vinaigrette. The guy that took my order was nice enough, but also busy talking to the customer ahead of me (maybe a friend of his) while making my sandwich. I had to repeat myself due to the lack of attention to what he was doing. Anyway.... I will never be back to this Subway again. I recommend going out of your way to the Subway at 83rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road. So much better all...

The initial young lady that was their when I walked in was very polite and attentive needs a little work on selling and making the sandwich as burnt the meat and flatbread 🤦 but what took the cake is the young lady that came in the door apparently for work while she was making my sandwich put her belongings down I'm guessing since she didn't have them when she proceeded to make her own sandwich smh. Why do I know this? Because the young lady that was making my sandwich that was now burning ugh asked her is that for you ? She tried to whisper and say yes she said you know you have to pay for that now 😏 apparently she didn't know that but proceeded anyway and said its for later lol. After already blurting out I'm starving lol so again sandwich still in warmer as we both kid of watch her struggle to wrap the not paid for sandwich smh gloves kept sticking to the tape and she couldn't get the paper wrapped around the sandwich correctly lol.. Im at awwwww at our hiring process for Subway at the moment lol Sandwich was horrible by the way not even the dog wanted it. The meat looked like when you fry bologna in a pan and burnt the edges lol would of been nice if that's what I asked for but the flat bread was as hard as the girls head that didn't stop making the sandwich lol Good luck and your next...

I went into this location today with a coupon for three subs for 17.99. When I told the lady that I had the coupon,she told me they no longer except coupons. So when I asked why they send out coupons if they dont except them, Ashley an employee at this location,started giving attitude saying that not all locations except them, but because I "rolled my eyes". Apparently that was disrespectful to her. Then Ashley proceeded to tell me that i needed to leave "her" store now,that she will not allow disrespectful people to order at their store. When I asked for the manager Ashley then started getting louder saying she was going to call the cops. If this is how subway is going to allow their employees to treat their customers then I will nolonger do business with them. Hey subway maybe if you post something on your doors that this location does not except coupons then problems may de avoided in the future. And ps this is not the first time that both my parents and I have dealt with this kind of abuse from your employees at this location. So I guess you can say that y'all lost three...
