Chicago Grill — Restaurant in Peoria

I read the other reviews and decided to stop in with my parents after driving about 338 miles. The people were very friendly so it was nice to feel welcome after a long drive! I was set on getting a large deep dish but the owner recommended the medium if i wanted left overs. Its been so long since i had a deep dish i forgot how filling they were 2 slices and i was STUFFED glad i only got the medium we still had 4 slices left!!

The inside and outside wasnt Magnificent BUT to me it had that homeowned feel to it that made me feel extremely comfortable

The owner leaves no doubt his love of his Chicago sports team with pictures and memorabilia on the wall. would definitely recommend trying this spot! They also had Gyro and chicago style hot dogs that i didnt get the chance to try but read from other review sites they...

Small-town spot with Big City menu..... Has the Oldskool Memorabilia & look's like a slice of Chicago but lacks the full impact in my personal and professional Southsider opinion...... I had an Italian Beef with Fries.....sweet peppers & mozzarella cheese......very skimpy with the meat's & smaller than usual sandwich.....good aujus taste but extra light with the portions....A.O. The fries were awesome 👌 👏 👍 and handcut too.....good taste and flavor plus very ample....😃 I expected much more and a bigger sandwich, especially for the hefty price....Back home in Chicago, you can get double the size & loaded with beef for what I was charged here....🙃 Loved the Memorabilia 4sure.....and the fries... plus extra nice service and personal touch... but I pass this place up if I'm around here...

As soon as we walked in to pick up our deep dish we knew it would be amazing, totally retro 70s Chicago pizza parlor feel. The lady behind the counter was an absolute doll and so proud of her restaurant, she opened up the pizza box to show it off and bragged that it was 5 pounds (I believe it). When we actually got to eating both of us were SO impressed. We've had deep dish in Chicago and the pizza here absolutely stands up to them. The sauce was delicious, not too salty or sweet, the toppings were fresh, the cheese was stretchy and the perfect amount, and the crust. Omg the crust! NO SOGGY BOTTOM. It was cooked to perfection, no burnt or doughy bits in sight. Absolutely thrilled with this place, definitely gonna come...
