Desert natzi's!!!Food was mediocre at best. Sunday brunch was 24.99$ plus tax for all you can eat with hidden one desert rule. I had to find out the hard way. Apparently you can only have one desert per person. It said all you can eat. I barely ate ànything because it was cold. Maybe it would have been a little bettter if food was hot. The sweet potato pie is best thing they have going. I felt like a kid being scolded over pie fiasco! So what I had 3 pieces. I didn't really eat anything else. They should tell you that when your paying for food. Instead of being desert shamed at the table over pie. I couldn't believe she said that. The waitress gave me the third piece as if she was doing me a favor. I thought I paid for it. It's not like it was free. I know they talked about me like a dog in back all over some pie. I spent over 24.99$ plus tax for cold, bland not so great food. I will not be going back. There is only tea and lemonade for drink options. I was damn near afraid to ask for a drink refill lol. Maybe there was a hidden limit on that as well. One per person desert rule. The staff was nice though. Our waitress was nice even though she pie shamed me. How f--king embarrassing. I am a grown a-- women eating pie!!! Nothing was even worth eating to me, except sweet potato pie!!!! It was after 1pm and I was hungry. I wanted to enjoy something for the cost we paid! How lame with desert limit!! That's actually pretty petty, desert natzi's. We laughed about it. It was funny, but not funny. I like desert and it's not a crime. It's only a...
Read moreThey ask you to pay as soon as you hit the door which I thought was a little weird. 55 dollars for 2 adults to eat Sunday brunch buffet. I asked if mabe we could see the food first. Make sure it was worth it. She showed me a piece of paper that had the offerings listed...okkay. We were starving so we just decided to go for it. The space is nicely decorated and the food was pretty good but I thought there were some temp issues. Nothing was very hot and the salad bar looked a little sad and none of it was cold. We were asked if we wanted mimosa or bloody Mary. I asked for a bloody Mary, my boyfriend asked for draft Miller light. After about 15 mins we got our drinks. My bloody Mary was pretty good...they brought my boyfriend a bottle even though he asked for draft. We got up to leave and had to pay again for our drinks. Another 10 dollars. We asked if we could take our dessert to go. It was listed as one of the buffet offerings on the menu she showed us at the door. To which she said, "he's gunna charge you for it" what?? It's listed as one of the offerings...I wasn't going to argue about cake. 65 dollars for 2 peoples brunch and we left a tip, which im sure didnt go to the nice Indian boy who helped us. He was gone by the time we left. I think small businesses like these should be less greedy and more appreciative to their customers. We were literally the only couple in the entire restaurant. 80 bucks. No cake....
Read moreSLE’ is now my new go-to restaurant! We had a group of 7 people for their Sunday brunch buffet. It was a first time visit for us all. I must preface my comments with the fact that I typically do not enjoy buffet-style dining for a multitude of reasons. If every buffet put in the work that SLE’s team does, I would quickly be a buffet convert! It was immaculate, and you were plated by the staff. The variety, freshness, and flavor of the dishes I tried is unparalleled by other restaurants in recent years. There were so many things I wanted to try, but I was already too full. All 7 of us loved everything we tried. It can be difficult to please 7 people with food, but they did it with ease! Not only was the food incredible, the ambiance was warm, eclectic, and soothing. In our area, it felt like we were in a friend’s dining room. There was another larger group near us, but somehow it still felt intimate. The staff was also very impressive. They really worked as a team. Any staff that walked our way stopped to make sure we had everything we needed. It was so refreshing to be in an environment where staff seemed happy to be there, as well as happy that you were there! Well done SLE’ team, I can’t wait for...
