Great Family Fun at Novel Ice Cream!

Just wanted to share our awesome outing to Novel Ice Cream! My two daughters and I decided to treat ourselves, and we had such a fun time. The place has a great vibe, and the staff was super friendly.

We couldn’t resist trying their special—bourbon caramel toffee crunch served inside a warm, soft donut, topped with Reese Puffs. It was a game changer! We all shared it and couldn’t stop smiling with every bite.

I love Novel Ice Cream, but this was my first time visiting the Peoria location. I've been to both the Phoenix and Mesa locations before, and they’ve made my order perfectly every time. Unfortunately, the doughnut at the Peoria location was extremely dry, and the ice cream had a strange aftertaste. I was really disappointed, especially since I ordered the same thing I always do. It might be because it’s a food truck, and they can't store everything properly, but I wouldn’t go back to this location—despite it being much closer to my house...

I recently visited an ice cream truck next to Driftwood Coffee and it was fantastic! The vibe around downtown Peoria was incredible. I highly recommend trying the Snickers cup, it was the perfect mix of sweet and nutty. The service was quick and friendly, plenty or parking and you can walk around the nearby park while enjoying your ice cream or relax by Axiom, where there are benches, chairs, and a playground. It's a perfect spot for a casual evening out!
