Just updating more than a year later... My opinion has not changed one bit. The frozen food section I think is starting to pick up again. It was empty for a while. Below is my original post.
I feel this place is a hidden gem!!! First, every single employee is friendly. The owner was giving out mini candy canes to everyone the other day. Meandering all over the store wishing all a wonderful holiday. They've always got cool music playing. Every now and again I'll hear throwback tunes where I know exactly where I was when I 1st heard it. It's like going down memory lane.
As for the expiration date... true, there are some "expired" dates but you should know that's a marketing strategy. Research it, those are "best by" or "tastes best by" dates. In fact you don't see tons of dented cans, cereal boxes can get crunched but you might buy that in a regular store, why not here at less than half the price.
Within reason, I may pick up items that have an expired date that is in the recent past. For heaven's sake every time I look in my pantry I find something that I forgot I bought and dates have passed. Don't we all? Or most of us? I certainly am not going throw it out.
Anyway, there there are tons and tons of foods you can find here. The other day there was a gentleman in front of me in the store with his two sons and he bought cartloads of food. To me it was wonderful to see him by his children tons of cereal and that his kids like. That's insane! He must have bought 10 or 15 boxes of cereal. Warmed my heart to see that...You can't buy a box of cereal for less than $3.50 anymore.
Lots of different seasonings, cereals, chips, liquid spices and seasonings. Their frozen foods section is growing. Macaroni and cheese Kraft cups, a case of 10 for a dollar.. Not expired! How many kids could you feed or give a snack after school at that price. I bought 2 cases and I don't have kids. A 15oz can of tomato sauce, again, not expired 50 cents, sometimes three for a dollar. Will you come across some expired stuff, probably, but give it a try, you will do well here. Savings for sure....

There is soooooo many items and such a huge amount of them are going bad. I would love to recommend that the company possibly checks through the dates, and donates the items to a food bank or soup kitchen BEFORE they expire.
That would be offering a large amount of food to those that could use it, while also ensuring these items aren’t wasted. You would be keeping your customers happier while also doing good for the community. I realize this may not be possible but it doesn’t hurt to put that out in to the universe.

Frys, Safeway, Sprouts & Whole Foods in One Grocery Store. And I believe I might have see some bulk optioms as well, but not positive. The prices are amazing as well. There really is no need to shop at any other grocery store again when you can get it all here in one spot. The Employees looked as though they actually enjoyed their job. So if & when you are greeted when you enter the store you can feel it's a legitimate invitation. Every employee I encountered was extremely pleasent & helpful. The overall store was well lit and visibly clean. The checkout counters were clean & clutter free & the checkout process was incredibly fast and equipped with large clear plexiglass dividers separating customer & employee. The line of people waiting to check out was just a couple people deep in each line and separated by floor markers indicating safe distance zone etc. That was my first visit & I have no reason to ever have to shop at another store again. I will definitely be returning on...
