Red Hawk's Java House — Restaurant in Peoria

It’s as if this place just doesn’t want business. This is my fourth time trying to get a drink here and it says they are open when they are not. The first time I went in and the person working told me they can still make my drunk but it’ll take long, gave me the impression she was just too busy or overwhelmed so I said I would come back. The next time I tried it said they were open and they were not. The third time I walked in and she said she was closing soon and only waiting for a door dash to pick up. Again, I laughed it off. The coffee shop is located inside the mall area along with several gyms. The barista was very friendly and took the task of making our coffees seriously. We both had Americanos with an extra shot of Expresso (only 50¢ as an addon). If we lived in the area we'd be back. I only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because there is a large tatami on the floor and only a couple of chairs to sit on albeit those chairs are comfortable. This is literally a mixed martial arts gym. It ain't for you if you're looking for a coffee shop. Bunch of fighter fitness types walking around. Not relaxed like a normal coffee shop.
